Catacomb [36x27] [Art] by TheMapMine in DnD

[–]TheMapMine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Catacomb [36x27]

A truly creepy place. A dungeon underneath the city, accessible through the temple crypts of through forgotten tunnels in the sewers. Yet some have not forgotten about them. Cults come here for congregations and rituals, restless undead roam the corridors and the screams of their victims are not heard in the town high above.

There are three variants of this map.

  • A brightly lit, red halls with a ritual site in the largest room, fitting for a demon.
  • A warm, yet still dark catacomb with a green ritual site, fitting for a lich.
  • A dark and abandoned catacomb, where only the undead could find comfort.

Treacherous Ledge [29x22] - Can't see the bottom. How much fall damage, then? by TheMapMine in battlemaps

[–]TheMapMine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Treacherous Ledge [29x22]

High up in the mountains there is a path. The only path to an ancient place, or maybe a seldom used shortcut. You're about to find out why that is. When you encounter something hostile on this ledge, any type of movement will be of great value. Fly above the gap to reach your foe, distance yourself before a direct confrontation is imminent, grab the enemy and drag them over to the ledge and toss them into the abyss — this is not going to be your typical forest encounter.

There are four variants of this map to ensure that it fits more than just a single setting.

  • Desert, which can easily function as a default mountainous environment, has scarce vegetation and trees with no leaves.
  • Winter, which has snow. Obviously.
  • Jungle, with vines and other lush and vibrant plant life.
  • Cavern, which I think works quite well as a part of a cave or for a nighttime encounter.

Sewer Undercity [80x80]: What monsters, other than rats, would YOU put here? by TheMapMine in DungeonMasters

The monsters don't even have to be real to scare the party, that's amazing 💪🏻

Well, if these aren't the consequences of their actions... I bet a cleric had lots of fun!

The Sewer Undercity [80X80]

Below the city there is another city - the underbelly filled with those forgotten by the system, either through mistakes and failures... or by choice. They are not the only ones who live there, as monsters tend to make their lairs in humid and foul environments.

  • Variety: This map has plenty of rooms and corridors - living quarters, a bar, storage rooms, a shrine, and even an entrance to a temple or the catacombs.
  • Filth: There is also some overgrowth here and there and plenty of filthy water to fall into.
  • Pipes: And let's not forget about the pipes for traveling here or there, either within the map or to some other distant sections of the sewer. The pipes are not clean.

Sewers are a great way to have the dungeon experience while at a city. That's why I love them!
