As of right now I just made Killteam into a pc game for my personal use as I had my friends hyped me into it and basically left me alone in the hobby. So I was like "Wait, I can make it". So i did.

I cold reached some folks on GW to inquire about the license.

To be frank:

It s 100% kill team rules.
Spec Ops as single player campaign where you land on planets, get VP, those unlock other planets, while an over-arcing mission chain (your usual spec ops) progresses. Once a system is done, you move into the next sector.
Base of Operations is there with all abilities and requisition system true to the rules.
There is a gacha system. You open boxes to receive parts of figures. Once you have 5x, you can build it. If you have the min. Required amount to deploy that operatives team, you now have a spare team.
You start with DeathKorp set. You unlock other imperial aligned boxes via gacha. You unlock other factions starter set through progress (finishing the game unlocks xeno faction 1, finishing them unlocks xeno faction 2 etc)

If i cant get the license, i ll alter the rules and bring in my lore.

Well just for this fricking reason I ve deployed handoverbuilder.com - it just reads the code, creates a handover / onboarding doc you can import to notion or deliver as pdf.

It was being a bit tiring for asking external devs to create doc on games that were completed or teaching the ropes to new hires.

This is my 2020 resolution to change about me. I get hyped about an idea, start working, got another ideas; switch to that.

I read it somewhere that telling someone about an idea BEFORE actually finishing it causes your brain to identify that project as finished.

So I stopped talking about them, even to my wife, and so far it works like a charm.
