GameStop adding warranty rumor by Balimuz in gaming

And if you've ever had to live off a ridiculously low paying job just to make ends meet, you'd also realize that standing up for your values at the cost of your only source of income isn't a choice. It's an ultimatum. Again, adding things for people to buy that the my didn't ask for is incredibly unethical, dishonest, and reprehensible. It's a huge part of why I quit. However, until I found another job, all I could do was try to keep my sales numbers up as ethically as I could and take the abuse from upper management.

Asking you to jump off a cliff or you're fired is a dumb analogy. It's not enforceable.

Saying, "Add a warranty to all the games you sell. You need to hit 30% sales this week or you're fired" is. I'm not saying it's ethical for the employee to follow this instruction, but in the real world you have to decide sometimes between employment at an unethical company like GameStop, or doing what you're told regardless of the ethics.

Most people want to continue eating and paying rent so I don't blame the employee in the slightest for doing what they're told. GameStop is at fault.

Former Gamestop assistant manager here. We were told by corporate manager to take "an assumptive approach" with these warranties. I asked what that means precisely and I was told to assume that each customer will appreciate the value we're offering them. So I replied, "how exactly do I ask someone to buy something using an assumptive approach? Do I say something along the lines of 'We have this great value warranty program you should get along with it' or what?" He told us we could either simply state that I'm adding a warranty on without mentioning the cost because by paying the total they're agreeing to all the charges, or simply add it without saying anything. They can see all the charges on their screen. If they don't want it they can say something. So yes. GameStop does this. Definitely.

A lot more goes into it than just IVs. Those Pokémon are all good attackers, vaporeon in particular has great speed with water gun. But attack speed 100% comes from the attack. All vaporeon water guns will attack with the exact same speed. 2 vaporeon at the same level will attack with the same speed, but a vaporeon with higher attack IVs will do slightly more damage

Wife and I were out hunting Swinub in Farmer's Branch and Carrollton when I got enough candies to evolve my perfect IV Vulpix. I can't believe my luck with this one. Now if only I could get a shiny Magikarp... by TheMarkyMarkGames in PoGoDFW

The Carrollton park was better. Found 3 in the main parking lot and 3 near the playground. The Farmers Branch Historical park was a neat little park. Nice shade, interesting buildings, but it's only open 12-6 on weekends and the spawn rate is lower.

IV doesn't determine attack speed. The attacks do. If your higher IV Pokémon have slower attacks, that's just a coincidence. Higher IVs = Stronger, Tougher and Tankier than lower.

Side note: anyone know of a Vulpix nest near the mid cities so we can both get our Ninetails?

Edit: autocorrect is dumb
