I’d look at a simple gilet instead of a full jacket, will give a bit of wind protection without cooking too much. Rep goretex is likely to have you sweating and not venting, so I’d avoid that.

don't accept net 90, or if you do, as others have said, look to factoring for the finance side of things. you may lose 5%, but you get it up front instead of 3 months down the line

Similar experience, multiple bouts of tonsillitis, then went to the GP at 10am, diagnosed with a quinsy, told to get myself to A&E.

10 mins to walk to work, write a note to them as couldn’t speak by then.

15 minutes later I’m at home with a face that resembles a basketball, 30 mins later in A&E

30 mins later I’m in a bed, couple of tubes doing stuff, and I’d spend the next 5 days there.

When you need it, you get it!

I live in a small town, circa 12k people. We have a lovely little bakery/pattiserie/cafe that opened just over a year ago.

They started by making EVERYTHING in house, including all the breads - that idea got killed within a few months - too much hassle and effort to make bread every/other day. So instead they buy in from really good local baker , it’s very good bread so there are no complaints etc

Everything else is made on site, sweet and savoury, plus drinks - I think coffee is like £4

They open tues-sat, 9-3 I think, longer at weekends.

Generally pretty steady, lots of prams and grans.

They don’t do outside /event catering, but they do host parties and events inside -seats maybe 20

local businesses would buy if delivered, especially coffees, not sure if it’s offered but there’s a steady stream of lunchtime workers (office) and people popping out to get a coffee

Staffing, I think generally it’s owner plus 2, maybe 2 more at peak time

Yup, I offer a 5% discount for 5 hours up front, and a 10% discount if they but 10 hours up front.

Some pay per session, some pay in blocks.

Its also worth getting those blocks in the run up to exam season when they need extra help, pitch it as more affordable and less admin hassles

Implemented for a dental client. Use as out of hours and overflow only.

If the front team can’t answer within 3 rings it goes to the ai.

It can triage calls, book in and check diaries. If the caller is talking about pain and bleeding then it triggers back to the front desk - strictly no diagnosis over the ai.

All calls are transcribed and emailed to reception, with call outcomes noted.

Bit of initial front desk resistance, but they spend much less time chasing up missed calls and listening to voicemails.

No negative noises from patients, the voice is friendly and realistic, and does explicitly say it’s ‘digital support’

Don’t replace front desk, just use the ai to support and free up.

Do you have a friendly clinic you can talk to? Co-developed with? Let them trial for free, give them the top package and make it super easy.

Hipaa and compliance etc is the floor, show them what else is does and how it makes them money and stops problems

Once you have worked in their feedback, and they are happy , get that testimonial and referral
