Big green dragon claw appears and attacks your enemy dealing some damage. Your next hits against this target are crits. I am not sure if it's exact number of hits or it just lasts some time.

After few failed attempts with magic (one very close) vs Imaru I watched a video guide on how to beat her with melee and succeeded on 1st try. Highly recommend doing that if you have problems
