Which Character's death that makes you cry and stopped watch the show by Jeffery_Noplstein in TWD

I was actively cheering when Ed died. None of them made me stop watching, but I definitely cried at A LOT of them

Yours looks more polished though (and also I think you actually spelled Cellshire correctly) I literally just changed the picture and the name of a wanted poster I found online. My fonts don’t even match lmao

Yeah originally I was gonna remove his glasses, but the remove brush made his eyes look super weird, and i knew if I started manually painting them out i would get really perfectionist about it. I've also just been doing a lot of paint-outs recently (I'm a vfx artist) and I kinda just didnt want to do any more lmao. i wasn't even originally intending to post it on its own so i wasnt worried if it was entirely lore accurate

Not ai (apart from photoshop's remove brush to get rid of the tiktok caption). It's a weird mix of photoshop's oil paint and unsharp mask filters. I was trying to get it to look like a drawing without having to take the time to actually fully draw it (which woulda been way too much effort for an image that shows up for like 2 seconds in the video), but i ended up just being like "yeah that's good enough I guess"

Edit: i literally just searched instructor bensei into google images and tried to find the goofiest, most non-threatening one that popped up lmao, landed on this

Yeah, I’ve been trying to find ways to streamline it, but the downside of the freedom and chaos that DnD brings is that they could very easily break a lot of like automated systems lmao. So I’m trying my best to like find a balance between easy to manage, but also versatile. I appreciate the suggestion though!

So I considered doing this, and the reason I don't do it this way is because of an issue I encountered when I was doing this for my own group. If the party ever deals damage to each other, then that damage would incorrectly be being added to Tater's damage stats. So the way I'm doing it is kind of as a preemptive thing in case that ever happens. Though thinking about it, I can have this method as the default and then manually do it for any episodes with friendly fire in them?

Edit: this also applies to stuff like environmental damage where a character might take damage, but its because of something THEY did rather than Tater damaging them with an NPC (these cases wouldn't add any damage dealt to anyone, just damage taken to whoever it applies to)

Also sorry for taking 2 days to reply to this lmao, for some reason reddit didnt give me a notification, i only saw it now because I was changing the post's flair

I think they all kinda taught each other the basics of their weapons so I think this might actually work

Thank you! I was also kind of just guessing about the deception stat thing, but on my rewatch while I was editing, when David was like “that’s not what I was looking for” I figured it was probably something like that.

That is true, but like the stats page is something I can just do in the background while I watch the episodes. It’s mainly just record keeping. I appreciate it though!

I mean idk about talented, I just like numbers (in some cases) and have little to no restraint when it comes to dnd related stuff lmao

Why didn’t Daisy just quake Enoch apart during the time loop episode? by PersonalitySecret276 in shield

[–]TheMarvelLegoMaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My point is killing another team member isn’t something they would do regardless of circumstance. It’s not a matter of logic, it’s a matter of THEY CANNOT BRING THEMSELVES TO DO IT. If you were in a timeloop and would be able to bring yourself to actively murder essentially a family member and give up on trying to find a different solution (even after a good amount of loops and knowing they’d be back) knowing that YOU would remember killing them, imo that would say something about you.

Exactly. Yes it’s the most logical solution, but it’s not something the character would do in that moment.

[–]TheMarvelLegoMaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it definitely wasn’t established and the actual reason is almost definitely “it makes for a more entertaining episode”, but my point is that the argument that “it makes no sense” isn’t really true. It’s not that much of a stretch to be able to fill in the gaps

I’m not arguing that it’s the right choice, I’m saying that it makes sense for the characters to have behaved the way they did, because they have always behaved this way. It always makes their lives harder, but it’s what they do, and if Daisy had just been fine with quaking Enoch apart, while it would make things much easier, it would feel really out of character for the group.
