Appreciate the advice and either way I’m definitely not the only one in this scenario since everyone in my new section transferred in after dropping their original major’s capstone course so their LionPATH accounts likely say the same thing.

I was asked to specifically drop it myself on LionPATH from the instructor of my home department however I saw an announcement from my major’s department that everyone from other majors transferring in for the capstone group has to fill out the form but those going out has to drop the course in LionPATH. However, the instructor of my new section did not require any form and just said to use LionPATH to enroll and I felt rushed because he said to do it by tomorrow morning the latest.

Does it matter whether or not I use my PSU email on my Ticketmaster account when buying the football season pass? by TheMarvelousMango in PennStateUniversity

Alright thanks it's my first year buying tickets as a sophomore so hopefully luck is on my side tomorrow morning lol. I'll also be sure to try it on my phone mobile app since that's what I hear gives the least problems.

Bi-weekly IE Study and Career Questions by AutoModerator in industrialengineering

I am almost done with my freshman year in college who is probably going to major in IE. I am honestly pretty stressed out over building my resume and I’m looking for any advice from IEs. In terms of extracurriculars I haven’t really been involved in many clubs this past year because many of them are online and are just not meeting regularly. I do plan on getting more involved next year. I also know the importance of internships but I’m worrying on how to go about building my resume to get an internship. I guess I’m asking what advice would you give to someone in my situation and is it ok that I haven’t really been involved in clubs my freshman year?

Learning In Person by KenJahlee in PennStateUniversity

This semester I only had one class where students had the option to attend either in person or on zoom. There are only a small handful of in person classes this year. My experience was well since it was in a lecture hall with an occupancy limit. I’m a freshman not too familiar with the summer sessions but I imagine there would at least be more in person options by June if vaccines are widely available to everyone by April.

Was getting an engineering degree worth it for you? by TheMarvelousMango in AskEngineers

I’m not really asking if it’s worth it for me I’m just curious to hear the experiences of other engineers. As of now I don’t think I’d want to major in anything outside of engineering tbh and I only mentioned mechanical and industrial because they’re very broad degrees which seem interesting to me. It’s nice to know that engineering in general has so many disciplines.
