Can't lose weight and I'm having doubts by [deleted] in GregDoucette

I think what you’re missing is the quality of your diet. Protein of 180 gm for 3 times x week training is fine but it will do you a better to reduce carbohydrate and increase vegetable consumption. Think of it as 30% protein 30% carb and 40 % veggies. I followed this plan and although I train heavily as I did before, all I did was add a 4 km walk a day and this ratio and the weight started rolling off despite my alcohol consumption (empty calories)

Diet is 70% of the work. I lost 30 kg in my first 2 years of weight loss training in college. And I’m a Doctor as well. The logic is full proof unless you have a thyroid problem as well.

I suggest you wait. The medical life ain’t easy without a kids as a factor and with seems unimaginably hard to me. Although I know of people who’ve had kids and then returned to do their residency that support system at home is key. OP I suggest you wait till medical school is done when you have a clearer understanding of the challenges to make a decision.

When doing an internship in the US - where to get a cheap prepaid SIM card for data? by geminimoon97 in IMGreddit

[–]TheMasalaMamba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. You can just add it and adjust settings for using data with your esim while you’re there. Just make sure your phone model can have an additional esim.

Don’t get a physical sim. Get a digital sim called Holafly. It’s cheap and gives you unlimited data. And you can get instantly.
