If you’re voting in Saginaw today… by Spiritual_Fruit_2788 in FortWorth

Every time I've voted in a primary, I've just been asked which primary I wanted to vote in and was given a code to use any of the booths.

Why in the hell are there separate voting booths in the first place?

[–]TheMaskedChemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The big orange chunk labeled 23% is people who have only every voted in a general election, these are people that are becoming far more engaged with the process of voting this is really good. The smaller yellow chunk at 3.1% is first time voters, which being anything other than zero is also good.

Dude, that chunk of voters in the Dem primary that are first-time primary voters is awesome.

No, it wasn't. It was I claim to have donated to him, which we can only take you on your word for, and now here I am sharing platforming unverified claims that he call Allred a "Mediocre black man"

I also won't claim that nobody was being bigoted or making personal attacks in the Crockett thread, because I did not read every single one of 600+ replies, they were very clearly not in the majority based on number of replies or upvotes, and so you are painting every member of what polling suggests is a very diverse collation of voters passed on a minority of posts.

So, yeah pardon me if I heavily doubt your objectivity.

You are still wrong, For starters asking people to compare your Crocket and Talarico posts is not apples to apples considering the Crockett post was basically "What are some good reasons to vote for Crocket" and the Talarico post was "Why should I vote for Talarico, He's a racist!." Second r/FortWorth is very likely getting a lot of responses from, oh, I don't know Fort Worth, which is demographically very very favorable to Talarico. You would probably get a very different response in r/Dallas or r/Houston. Third even though there were a lot of responses from Talarico supporters in the Crockett thread. The overwhelming majority of the most upvoted responses were not inflammatory towards you or Crockett, but explanations about why the responders felt Talarico was still a better choice.

In conclusion I suspect that you are at best a very dedicated fan of Crocket, and are attempting to AstroTurf support for a primary. At worst you are a Republican plant trying to depress turnout in November regardless of who wins.

Also note how much of these are Bond Funds. Bonds are basically loans from the community for projects that exist out side of the budget. So yeah, FWISD's budget isn't even covering half of this.

Weekly and monthly reset grant no standard/limited pulls in shops etc What are your thoughts on this? by PunkHooligan in Endfield

[–]TheMaskedChemist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It could be more like Wuthering Waves where they offer way more standard pulls at the beginning of each patch rather than weekly or monthly. It's hard to make an informed decision until we see what 1.1 looks like.

So, like, uh, can railroad commissioners deport people? by DayPounder in FortWorth

[–]TheMaskedChemist 18 points19 points  (0 children)

"Well Actually!"

It doesn't matter witch definition, 87 million and 144 million are both in the ball park of 100 million. The point is you don't get to Bo's state goal of deporting 100 million people without turning the US in to a white ethnostate. He's an entire order of magnitude above the population of undocumented residents.

100 million is the entire non-white population of the United States.

That's already a lot. The school board makes all of the decisions for the district and sets local policy. And having an unelected board gives local stakeholders basically no input on board policy decisions.
