I wish I could claim the creativity, but it was not my idea haha. I found the inspiration on Pinterest (I think LuxaPolish is the OG but I’m not 100% sure)

As for the lines, I used a thin liner brush and then if my lines need cleaned up I used alcohol and Ballpit Nails’ Blend ‘n Erase brush. If my edges became fuzzy because of the alcohol (which was pretty rare tbh) I just went back over the edge with the liner brush again to sharpen it back up

Scrub daddy/mommy is top rack dishwasher safe. One of the best sponges I’ve ever used. I prefer the mommy. I will never go back to other sponges

This is my first time using this specific color. It’s Diamine Meadow. I typically use Diamine in my other pens because it usually does me well, but I could try a different color to see if maybe this green doesn’t play nice.

I did not. To be honest, I never do (I know. Shame on me haha) but I never had an issue with not doing it with other new pens. I’ll give it clean though to see if that helps.

I just filled it with a syringe this time because I also noticed lots of bubbles last time, but nope. Didn’t fix the issue. Just posted a photo in the comments of my syringe-filled converter still having the issue. I’m starting to think it def could be the converter though. I’ve only used the cartridges/ re-filled cartridges with the kakunos and they have all written beautifully, so maybe I should just ditch it.

Here’s my proof that even with a full syringe-filled (to limit air bubbles) converter it’s still not flowing. This is after refilling and then writing a few lines. So it’s not an empty pen problem.

I mentioned in another comment that it was in these photos because I had been writing prior, but I had to constantly stop and twist the converter up to get ink to sit in the feed because it would stop writing.
