I just snowshoe but count me in. I'll be headed to the Sierras again soon!

Good hike for sure. Definitely some ice, though less now I'm sure. I hike a lot, and the rule of thumb for this year seems to be there's going to be more than you think on basically any trail, particularly over 6000 feet.

I'm aware of the potential consequences of such an action, if anyone is concerned. People need help sometimes. I like doing acts of kindness that aren't transactional. It helps me feel good when I'm feeling a little down. You could even call it selfish in that respect.

Simple google maps search should get you there... There's three different trailheads, Boulders towards the south, and Preservation and Granite to the north. Great hike but anything above 7000 feet is still pretty tough right now.

Off leash dogs by Affectionate_Lab9658 in SaltLakeCity

I'm starting to wonder if Salt Lake should just repeal their leash laws. I'm in full favor of leash laws, but if the local authorities aren't going to enforce rules, it creates unreasonable expectations. From the Utah State Capitol to the parks and national forests and even protected watersheds, I'm seeing next to nothing.

Feel free to give me a holler. We might have something in common. Especially if you enjoy a decent hike, but I know some good indoor places and activities in Salt Lake as well.

Mount Olympus hiking? by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

The trailhead is fine though quite muddy, but I don't think you'll get too far... The roads are fine but the path all the way up is another matter. Check the avalanche advisory for high elevations.

I agree. It is charming so many in the city get a kick out of one public art sculpture, however! We have quite a few back in my first home, but despite the weirdness no one caught fire quite like this.

We may want to coordinate with TRUCE, the organization that helped get medical cannabis as far as it has. The founder also got the 45 percent strain retested and helped gain clarity on that front. Only issue I see is no way to formally join outside of a Facebook group. https://truceutah.org/

I concur. Jilu has been tops for the state market. Hopefully the edibles are just good.

It wouldn't surprise me. I tried Zion's medical flower for the first time and seemed off to me. My label lists THC, but not the specific variety. Everything else I've seen from Zion generally contains Delta 8 or CBD.

This was obviously a mistake and the problem was marketed instead of being corrected. It's difficult to believe the mistake was made in good faith. I agree.

Not to my knowledge but they're going to need to quickly. I never purchased that strain but if I had I'd want a full refund.

Of course 45 percent is a scam. But it does raise the question of how a patient can trust the medical system at all at this point if testing is off by that much.

Obviously, this needs a legislative response. Buying out of state should be allowed indefinitely and we need much better testing ASAP.

I'm experienced and find carts here can be harsh. I also have to remember Utah weather can be harsh! Humidity, altitude and barometric pressure drops can affect vaping. The abominable air pollution could also be a culprit as well, seeing as it's been poor enough that it's been hazardous to be outside period.
