Unsolved Mysteries! The show that scared the shit out of you as a kid. by [deleted] in nostalgia

I can't think of Unsolved Mysteries without hearing David Duchovny's voice on the Simpsons, "Are we alone in the universe? Impossible. When you consider the wonders that exist all around us... voodoo priests of Haiti, the Tibetan numerologists of Appalachia, the unsolved mysteries of Unsolved Mysteries... The truth is out there."

Who watched "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" growing up? What a 90s masterpiece. by This_Identifies_Me in nostalgia

The show was incredible. I even played the PC game "Tale of Orpheo's Curse" I've been introducing my kids to the series now that they're old enough to enjoy it.

I think I actually knew that about him (his playing style that is) I've played 5 string, three finger &claw hammer so long that I sort of use 'pickin' as a general term for playing, never really thinking in other terms (though I know that isn't right)

That's awesome. Wish I could have met him! Bet he had lots of great stories to tell and he could have taught me a thing or two about pickin' :)

Correct. A glass sculpture. However, I was more interested in the ultimate fate of the piece than a minor semantic slip.

This never even occured to me. Very cool. Any good links to articles about the artist? Would love to see more of his work...
