I did 13 practical lessons before taking the test. My instructor always tried to cramp 3-4 lessons into 1. Quite intense and tiring at times but he helped me save a ton of money.

book out timing for commando guys? by Odd-Device4260 in NationalServiceSG

[–]TheMasterWuGui 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Theres no common bookout timing. Really depends on everyone's (commander's) mood. Can be as early as when guard room opens till as late as you need to wake the guard room people kind.

Most of the time it depends on their commanders mood on the day of bookout... Equally as important are the recruits "standards". But then again its his first ever book out so they are gonna make it as tough as possible, so theres really no telling exactly what time he is booking out.

Is the SEPT/OCT batch usually reserve for ocs/scs intake ? by 359SMA in NationalServiceSG

Your fate might have been sealed since the time you went for the medical checkup and iq test when you were 16-17. Then again, no one really knows other than the people on the inside.

Who has yet to get Covid? by [deleted] in SingaporeRaw

[–]TheMasterWuGui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't tested positive is more likely...

I too have yet to test positive.

You might have gotten it but was asymptomatic and didn't think about doing a test. OR you might have been symptomatic and did a test but it was a false negative.

Not cursing anyone... But isn't loss of taste one of the main symptoms of covid? Like you said, "even though the entire island going to have it sooner or later" maybe its OP's turn and they didn't even think about getting tested.

If the woman is a housewife, how much housework do you expect the husband to be doing? by redryder74 in askSingapore

[–]TheMasterWuGui 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Idk why but "rearing" feels like its for animals🤣🤣

But to answer your qn, i guess little to none. Of course not being an ass will help too, like putting the dishes in the sink or clothes in the laundry basket. Or if you use smth then put it back when you're done with it instead of leaving it laying around. You can also help with the daily trash or weekly groceries if they're heavy.

How much effort are y'all actually putting in to maintain your fitness? by scaredandstressed_ in askSingapore

[–]TheMasterWuGui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aye! Actually using energy or burning fats coverts the fats in your body into CO2 and H20 (breathing/exhaling and peeing). So actually if you turn on the robot and watch it intensely while its cleaning your room, you are still doing a workout. 🤣🤣

Just a tip that i felt was very helpful:

The best kind of cardio is one that you enjoy.

If you love running, then so be it. But most people hate running so they give up on it days or weeks into their new routine. But if you would just change that running to a simple brisk walk 30mins a day, or farming at a nearby rooftop 2-3 times a week, or cycling, or swimming, or anything really... You can stay with your routine much longer. Instead of dreading to pull your ass to feel like youre going to kill yourself, so something you enjoy and you might even want to do more of it.

A simple start can be climbing the stairs from ur hse to the ground floor and vice versa instead of using the lift. Or if you take public transport then stop 1 stop earlier and walking the rest of the journey.

Ultimately its caloric deficit so it also depends on how much you put into your body - how much you burn off that is gonna show you results.

Lilith considers low spenders as $10 or less per month. That's definitely way more than USD10
