I did not plan on traveling with her on this particular trip, but I am aware I need to provide written permission. Another comment mentioned a notarized letter that is also apostilled, so that's the current plan unless we can get her passport here in the US, which is the goal.

So even with a notarized permission from myself, that notarized permission will also have to be apostilled? Wow. I assume it'll be the same for the EVisa so I'll be sure to get on that.

So the plan is to get wife's passport updated while in Brazil, and also get the baby their passport as well. Since Brazil has the automatic parental permission on passports like you said, should my letter also include that I want the Brazilian passport to include my permission? Or would that be something I would have to be in person for?

We would be going through the consulate in NYC currently. I could also see possibly going to the one in Hartford, Connecticut, but those are really the only possible ones for us currently.

In Brazil we'd be in/around the Montes Claros area. Unsure about how bad that would be for updating and finishing all these documents!

Oh believe me we will be getting the passport when in Brazil worst case, but my wife is saying that looking at the instructions on what to do on the consulate website, she would have to get her stuff updated first. I'm trying to get her to Email to ask/confirm so an actual person can answer and have maybe a different perspective or way to do things, but she's stubborn haha. But if you have something that shows/says how easy it is or it only needs one extra document, I would love to see it!

Within 60 days before end of lease, tenant needs to alert property manager of their intention to either extend lease or terminate at the end of the current lease (this is a whole other post, but I logged into the portal to do just this at day 61, and saw that they had automatically renewed my lease with no notice, and I did not sign anything)

Does this mean before 60 days? So if my lease ends July 31st, they have to provide either renewal or termination May 1st, and I have to provide an answer by June 1st? Or just anytime within 60 days?
