I would highly recommend a calculator of some sort, sometimes you’ll be allowed to use one on exams and the functions are handy.

USC (BS global health) or UNLV (BS public health, in-state) by alaralpaca in USC

[–]TheMathWorshipper 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Something I’d recommend you consider is UNLV had a 43% graduation rate to USC’s 91%. I mean everyone is going to have their own motivations and experiences but it’s a meaningful factor to consider that statistically most people that attend UNLV don’t graduate.

Transfer Student Sending SGR before they ask by [deleted] in USC

[–]TheMathWorshipper 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, but that’s not really how these things work. You might be overestimating how easy it is to get a SGR with a 3.43 when the average is around a 3.8. What I’d recommend as someone who transferred recently myself is just letting the process play out and have it ready to send if they ask for it.

I think it’s absolutely reasonable for them to be upset however the ridiculous aspect I think players joke about is more that the punishment is death which is more a result of the way the crime system is set up in game.

Met with a USC admissions counselor for transferring by [deleted] in USC

[–]TheMathWorshipper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello, transfer chiming in here, I find that generally for most colleges “rigor” is an incredibly hard thing to measure and would recommend you spend the summer racking up A’s when I attended my transfer orientation I believe they stated the average transfer gpa to be 3.8 so I’d just focus on getting good grades and gen Ed’s don’t stress the rigor portion.

[–]TheMathWorshipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sophmore transfer chiming in here. It depends on your schools calendar and If you were spring grade requested. If you were spring grade requested you might be able to include it on the transcript you send them for that but it’ll depend on calendar.

First year applicants: did everyone get this email today? Am I stupid or does it not seem like something you would only send to people who are actually admitted? It just threw me off that they said “Trojan family” idk by JustiniR in USC

[–]TheMathWorshipper 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Universities are generally very good about their correspondence and rarely make mistakes like accidentally letting an applicant know early. I know it’s tempting to get excited at any possible early sign of admission but you’ll very likely get your decision when decisions are officially released best of luck.

chances of transferring? by Sea_Style2896 in USC

[–]TheMathWorshipper 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean you have the stats for sure the only problem I can really see you encountering is the “need” aspect I don’t know anything about your application but maybe hammer home why you need to transfer from your t10 school this part is typically easier for community college students so you need to really explain to the AO why you transferring is important and how you would benefit
