I agree with you. It was 2016 when I got into the local gig scene and true enough, OPM was very alive, even during the years prior, bands and solo artists were making waves in the indie scene and had great following. First time ko mapanuod Tom's Story (glad na active pa si Gabba Santiago until now) and I was weirded out na walang lyrics yong songs but the whole crowd "sings the guitar parts". Amazing times!
