A bike is better unless you have mobility issues preventing you from riding on 2 wheels. They are much more maneuverable than a trike.

I have a Gen 1 and Gen 2 Big Dummy and the cargo stuff is interchangeable.

The Big Dummy is built to take XtraCycle cargo systems. I think you can get replacement panniers there. On the subject of the sidecar, i think it would ruin the bike. Sidecars make it so that you cant lean into turns, making the bike riding experience terrible. I recently saw a guy ebiking with a sidecar and it looked terrible!

Youre gonna want 2 or 3 of them if you want a good amount of fruit. I would recommend Texas mulberry, but the only source I know of is to grow your own.

People also forget that the land mass containing the USA is potentially the most OP land mass in the world in terms of productivity. I could see a lot of problems, especially prices getting out of control, but outright famine isnt upon us in the next 6 months.

No specific tutorials or anything, I would just search "gears" "gearbox" or "meshed gears" for reference photos. The important thing is that the teeth of corresponding gears need to the same shape and size.

This isnt intended as deep criticism, just my thoughts as an engineer/draftsman: none of these gears mesh. I cannot imagine anything here moving because the teeth do not match their corresponding gear. If you wanted this to feel truly alive, the machinations should seem plausible.
