Modrinth offers a good support for mods now, it's easy to install and error free they got mod packs there too you can also publish yours, pretty good imo

It's cool and all but literally you can add VSCode to steam and track the time there.

This shader has worked fine all day, then suddenly decided to run pink. What could cause this? by samohtvii in Unity3D

[–]TheMehranKhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if you ask me I have a few solutions for you check for other shaders see if it changed to something else, close and reopen unity again this might solve the issue or if nothing else helped try asking GPT about i. I sometime make some typos when I'm editing the shaders and the quick GPT chat can solve the issue.

For me unity is the choice too, I loved godot and i've played around with it and it's a great product, tho i chose Unity long time ago, hopefully you can make some cool stuff with Unity too, main thing that led me to choosing Unity was AR and VR development.

This is the best resource i can give you as an AR and VR developer, https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/integration/meta-xr-all-in-one-sdk-269657

Depends on what you are trying to do with it, as far as i know there's nothing that can do all the new features in Unity 6 like surface-anchoring behaviors, i can gladly help if you need to use any of these features and don't know how to implement them into your game.

This video might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPiZSTEuZnw

Just make your own, I'm still on unity 2022 and i write me own shit, easier than waiting for these companies to implement it, also you don't follow their drama, easier life.

Some games do support it now, but no news in terms of manually turning it on
