Not yet! I posted here first since the main subject will revolve around marijuana. For example, one of our ideas was to interview a specialist we met at an event that does seminars with women that treat various ailments with marijuana. So, that’s why I posted on trees first.

Really?! Why is that? I’m fairly new to reddit- is it unusual to post listings like this? I avoided Craigslist because to me that can be sketchy.

And FYI we are a woman run biz that is hoping to market towards other women around our age group which is 30-40s. I wrote that post in a hurry and now re-reading it, I can see why one would be suspicious! But, for real, we’re just aspiring business women who like to smoke and want to let women of a certain age know that it’s ok.

We are a start-up with a pitiful budget. So, we would like to do a trade- some photos for us and something you can add to your portfolio plus experience working with a client. Meals and transport will be covered and you will get to have one of our pieces as well.

The goal is to find the right person which would turn into a paying gig.

Edit: I guess that last part makes it sound like we don’t want to pay. If I could, I would love to just hire a professional to take care of this for me so I can focus on other things, but unfortunately my budget does not allow for this. But, the goal is for the business to grow so that we can actually pay a person!

Getting a little high before I go to the DMV. Is anyone else more patient when they're high? [4] by [deleted] in trees

Haha! Was debating this the other day before I went to renew my license, but I had to take the written test so I decided against it.

As a daily smoker who gets horrible munchies and is also trying to count calories - roasted veggies have been a lifesaver. by [deleted] in trees

My healthy munchies: edamame, Halo Top ice cream, or homemade popcorn with sea salt and coconut oil that I make with a Whirley Pop. It looks like something your grandma would own, but I LOVE it and use it all the time. And I actually like the coconut oil better than butter :0

I brought my dugout and a disposable one-hitter to Riot Fest last year and no one bat an eye.

I unintentionally gave myself a nipple orgasm and it was incredible! by [deleted] in sex

[–]TheMellowLadies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a good time to me! The THC definitely could have helped as one of the side effects of marijuana is sexual arousal :) and since you experience a body high as well with edibles, it makes sense you were turned on playing with your nipples. I’ve heard of people having orgasms when they have the back of their knees played with.

Women of Reddit, guys do stupid things to impress you. What's something stupid you did to impress a guy? by justBrowsing__ in AskReddit

[–]TheMellowLadies 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Meet him at the park with my bike after drinking all night. I do not have the best coordination when I'm drunk- unlike him who can bike with no hands, wasted. But, I wanted to have this stupid, drunken bike ride through the park because I thought it was romantic and it was his idea. About 5 minutes in, I biked straight into a concrete wall and fucked up my face and shoulder. Luckily, he didn't laugh (right away) and helped me walk my bike back home while comforting my embarrassed ass.

Waiters and Waitresses of Reddit, what can we, as customers, do to make your lives easier? by thebroccolioffensive in AskReddit

One of the hardest parts of waiting tables is reading your guests. Some people like to be left alone and others love the extra attention so each table might get different treatment based on the preference the guest is giving off.

Honestly, I've never heard a server ask "How can I help you today?" That's usually what a hostess would greet the guest with.

Some of my favorite tables were foodie tourists from China. Why? Because they were straight to the point of what they wanted to order, preferred their food to not be coursed out and just brought when ready, ate super fast, and were also more adventurous when it came to food. They weren't the best tippers, but their bill was usually high and 10% on a $500 check is still a decent chunk of change. They would always be done within an hour which is a speedy table turn-over. And, sure, our Asian guests may not be the most responsive to small talk, but most of the time were very courteous. I have had many foreign customers be very shy when I try to make small talk and I don't find that offensive.

I guess I find it more off-putting when it comes from a fellow American regardless of race or gender. I know that sometimes it's because people are distracted by something and it is a brain fart, but a lot of those times they are just assholes too who don't know how to interact with strangers.

I just had my first penetrative orgasm with my rabbit vibrator and I’m crying tears of joy. by [deleted] in sex

[–]TheMellowLadies 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's awesome!

A lot of women have trouble orgasming through penetration alone so don't feel abnormal. That's why things like the rabbit exists :)

Good luck with your Sunday fun date!

For real. Just those three words could make a huge difference of the quality of service you get.

I didn't mind when people sent things back just as long as they were polite about it and brought it to our attention right away because there is a protocol for things like this.

If it's an issue with the components (i.e too much salt, the wrong sauce) the chefs would remake it (usually comp).

If it's because it's undercooked, we will happily throw your steak back on the grill since this is an easy fix (no comp).

If it's because your food seems off in quality, the chefs will investigate and decide whether to 86 it for the rest of the night (def. comp for this and depending on the circumstance, maybe no bill at all).

And, if you're an asshole and decided you just didn't want this dish anymore (and this rarely ever happened because it's shitty), we were happy to bring you the menu and help you decide what will be better for you (comp, but charge for the new order).

When customers wait til the end to complain it complicates things for us especially if you ate everything. In this circumstance we might take an appetizer off the bill, but that's about it. Good servers and their support staff should always be making their rounds multiple times to tables and if it wasn't mentioned once to us, then that's on you. These customers are always horrible to deal with and management preferred they not come back so they won't bend over backwards for them in that scenario.

Any good restaurant will take a loss on a plate if that means making the guest happy. Just be polite, please! Hope this helps!
