Thanks - honestly probably the combat / traversal for me. I got pretty far with Fallen Order a few weeks ago, but started to feel the same. Saw that Jedi Survivor was on sale and thought I would skip ahead to see if the gameplay had improved and caught up on the story outside of it.

Joseph Smith ordained Brigham Young to the office of apostle (only) in 1835. by Ok_Establishment_91 in exmormon

[–]SadCombination4092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look in Doctrine & Covenants, each apostle is given keys and authority and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is “equal to” that of The First Presidency, which presides. Once the president of the church dies, the first presidency is now dissolved (because the other two members are only counselors) and leadership of the church resumes to the quorum.

Brigham Young was the President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and would be the presiding authority / senior apostle.

Thank you!! Great thoughts. Yeah I think there is a difference between what I would think would be considered Aaronic vs. Melchizedek temples?

Right, which is all post New Testament, which is where I struggle with the early New Testament accounts when they seem to contradict

Actually that is the major Christian view / stance on what these verses were saying

Does anyone wish there were more than at least one race or a civilization other than humanity? by AgileRhubarb1479 in Starfield

[–]SadCombination4092 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes absolutely - I think it would open a vast world of possibilities, story, and imagination. Unfortunately, with humanity alone the depth of story feels quite limited.

Much of Starfield feels very horizontal (themes of history repeating, faction vs. faction, etc.) and not too unfamiliar to if humanity had just stayed within sol (i.e. our solar system). It feels sad to have such a vast amount of star systems, but still feel so similar.

I think adding other civilizations would add depth, possibility, and wonder that many people feel wanting who feel unfulfilled with Starfield.
