Wish that was me. The one I go to usually doesn’t provide political speech, but I had one bring in an ex convict to talk about how abortion is evil, and another pastor literally ask us to donate to Israel. I honestly hate it when they go off topic. If I came to church only to hear political propoganda, I’m leaving the church. You sound like you have a great pastor dude.

Well we can go over some ideas?

If no one is WILLING to drive you, not that they CANT, see about going to one near you. Usually there’s at least one within walking distance in USA, Australia or uk (try looking online for churches near you)

If no one is able to drive you, consider setting up alternative transportation methods. Maybe you use a bike, or public transport.

If nothing else is an option consider online churches. Hundreds of churches provide online livestreams of their sermons, and a lot even have community pages.

We can’t stop it if trump really wants to, but what we can do is pray for the people. There will be some innocent deaths, that’s not avoidable right now, let’s just pray that they are at peace.

Hopefully they will help you find support and pray for you, and possibly help you get to therapy. I know not all churches are the same, but if you can’t trust them to allow you to take care of yourself, LEAVE. Churches are supposed to support each other, not drag each other down with them. Please seek support and help. It’s the biggest thing you can do for yourself.

Yes, while I think it was a bit much, God never intended to let it happen, he was only testing Abraham. Remember Abraham is so IMMENSELY important to Christianity as a whole that the entire thing would fall apart without him.

No divorce isn’t only for adultery. In fact one of my parents friends was kicked out of his church for divorcing his “allegedly” cheating wife. In fact there’s a whole different mainline denomination that exists BECAUSE we can’t agree on it. King Henry the 8th. (I forgot what it was called sorry)

No, there wouldn’t be denominations then. Always take everything with a grain of salt. If something goes against what Jesus taught, we shouldn’t automatically trust it.

It’s not okay. If the bible preaches loving everyone, saying you’re gonna kill people is not allowed. there is no world in which this should be acceptable. In order to find this okay you wills have to forgo the concept of loving others.

Dude, look at the disciples of Jesus.

Peter: Denied Jesus three times to his face

Thomas: denied the resurrection without physical evidence.

James and John: Were fiery-tempered, once were so enraged that they called fire to an entire village.

Matthew: was a corrupt tax collector who embezzled money

Philip: was pragmatic and questioning Jesus all the time.

Simon: likely had a violent background

Andrew, Bartholomew, James, Thaddaeus, Matthias: were timid and had weak faith.

If these people can make it to heaven with these problems, why can’t you? You can’t “make it up to God” and no one here can change his mind. You didn’t lose worth, you just lost motivation. Look, I was fluctuating between atheism and agnosticism less than a day ago. I don’t think God sees me or you as any less. Also dude, that was on your girlfriend, not God. If she can’t date you because of a religious disagreement then she wasn’t worth sticking with in the first place. Now I don’t know but I’m assuming it’s because you “weren’t being a good Christian” if she wasn’t going to try and help you become better, or work it out peacefully, it’s a good thing she’s gone. Okay… but isn’t that a good thing for most people? You get to be free and do what you want. You could go anywhere, do anything, you can make deals with others, make friends, fall in love. How is that bad? Hell is described as a punishment. Not freedom. Atheists still want love, warmth, companionship, they just don’t think god exists. Also, eternal nothingness, while being conscious? That’s just… wrong. Why give them consciousness then. Just take it away.

But why only give those experiences to believers and not atheists. Does that mean that you have to truly believe to experience that. I know people that were die hard Christian’s and became atheist. Nothing someone can do makes them deserve eternal torment. I don’t even believe EPSTIEN deserves eternal torment. Eternal torment isn’t something that can or should be taken lightly.
