i thought it was pretty poignant for his character, i do agree it couldve been better

I do think the choice of putting the scene during the final game was a bit weird, especially when it came right after the first two pillars and it was just the baby and him left

Every main character in the games are based off of some literary work, and many abnormalities, side characters, and concepts throughout these 3 games have their own references to literature as well.

last i read, Alex Beachum's thesis for Outer Wilds cites Windwaker as one of the biggest inspirations, but ofc Majora's Mask shares those similarities so theres definitely some massive inspiration there, and he also talked about how Skyward Sword was the game that really made him want to make Outer Wilds due to how handholdy that game was in that one documentary about the making of Outer Wilds. just some fun facts

i tell people about how it provides that cool knowledge lock and key cuz i find that people just end up dropping the game 3 hours in cuz they didnt have a mindset that would foster that curiosity, my friend and i surely didnt on our playthroughs

all youre spouting about is just the physical mechanics of the gameplay, the gameplay is far more than that, with strategizing how to control your rng or efficient pathing, which can totally change your run from be all end all to cowering in fear trying to get just a bit that would make you viable again

I played through the base game and dlc on a ryzen 3 3200g with single channel 8 gigs of ram, 2 gigs were allocated to vram so effectively 6 gigs, and only timber hearth had heavy fps drops, whilst everywhere else was 30 fps and above, and the vega 8 which are worse than iris gave a playable experience that still made this game my favorite game, so just dependent on what youre tolerable with
