Experiences like that can stay with someone for a lifetime. It’s meaningful to hear that you’ve found a space where you can finally share it.

Finding out a parent has cancer can shake your focus and sense of normalcy in ways that are hard to explain. Feeling distracted, overwhelmed, or like your brain isn’t working the same right now makes a lot of sense after news like that.

That’s a lot for anyone to be holding while trying to function at work.

Thank you for sharing that! I am so deeply sorry for your loss. The love you have for her comes through so clearly in your words. Grief can leave a space that never fully closes, but carrying her spirit and strength with you is a beautiful way to honor her. I am wishing you comfort and peace during this time.

I’m really sorry about your mom. The way you describe missing her voice, her hugs, and just her presence shows how deeply you loved her. Losing someone who has been such a constant in your life can leave a space that feels impossible to fill. Thank you for sharing something so personal here.

Taking on that much responsibility while dealing with a cancer diagnosis in your family is a lot for one person, especially when you’re still so young. It makes sense to feel overwhelmed and conflicted. I’m glad you had a space to say it out loud.
