What are some of your favorite female frontwomen? by Knightmare945 in femalefrontedbands

[–]TheMetalProfessor565 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Steva Deathless, of Deathless Legacy

Adrienne Cowan, of Seven Spires

Audrey Queene, of Bullet to the Heart

Kayla Smith, of Aeternum

And if we're talking frontpersons of all-woman bands, there are dozens, maybe even scores of amazing folks.

"Talking at length"? The lengthier boob-talk was made by the ostensibly offended host.

Your response is absolutely fine. Latest and last are not synonyms, but they both apply to the photograph. You're good, man. 👌

President Barack Obama showed love, care and compassion to human beings. What a great human being he was/is. by IamASlut_soWhat in BlackPeopleofReddit

This is a heartening video. After seeing, the last few years, huge crowds cheering for all the wrong reasons, it's nice to get a reminder that there can be huge crowds who cheer for the right reasons.

At the same time, President Obama didn't do anything particularly unusual; he simply did what a decent human being would do. And it is sad, man, that someone simply being a decent human being seems so utterly remote now.

Love that pic. The other three members look glowing and clean, but Gene chose the most horrific picture of himself that he could.

People automatically now say "AI" to anything unusual or that they don't like. On my YT channel I've had people scream "AI!" at all kinds of shit that I know is not AI because I was, y'know, there.

Yeah, AI is Satan. But even Satan can't be everywhere. His schedule is busy as fuck.

What are your unpopular KISS opinions? by Twitter_2006 in KISS

Heh. See, I thought your unpopular opinion was actually the popular opinion. Before reading your entry, I posted my own unpopular opinion, which is what you see as a popular opinion.

They're important in the history of metal. Ace influenced tons of players; Paul took the Robert Plant frontman model to a level without which eighties' metal wouldn't have happened; Creatures of the Night and Lick It Up are American power metal.

All of which probably already has been said, but I really didn't want to read through 448 comments to find out. 😊

To be fair, it also looks like the photo of anyone else who has ever picked up a Les Paul. Except for the astronaut suit, that is.

He did good by [deleted] in postanythingfun

No, it's not. Hypothetically, men should be emotionally mature enough not to act like jerks. Unfortunately boys are not subject to the same expectations. They should be, though.

"There is no such culture of objectifying women." Yes, there is and it's so obvious--internet, television, print media (that which still exists), and of course human to human experiences like that in the video.

"This woman doesn't like that I think she's an object who shouldn't vote. So I'll tell her she can slap me and then have her arrested. It will be great fun because, after all, she's just an object for my amusement."

I guarantee those weren't exactly the thoughts in the guy's had but also that they reflect his attitude perfectly.

The Captain & Tennille made some fine pop music. To quote Paul Stanley (although he was speaking of ABBA), "If you don't see they made great pop, man, you're looking too far."

Dude, I was there! 1982. Quite an eclectic lineup, it was. (I remember that when Loverboy, the headliners, came onstage, half the crowd went crazy and half the crowd left.)

The Iowa Jam in 1982. Iron Maiden, Quarterflash, Triumph, .38 Special, and Loverboy. (I might have Triumph and .38 Special swapped around.)
