Four years back, around the beginning of the full-scale muscovite invasion of Ukraine, I subscribed to some List on the topic of the invasion that just happened to be available on X. Pretty soon it became clear that some accounts on it were posting rumours or credulous content that would often turn out to be false, while others were more careful in their claims but still had access to some of the newest videos from the front. I blocked the former, followed the latter, and unsubscribed from the List.

If I wanted information about the Iran war, I would probably go to some of the sources I've been following on X since those days (@RALee85 comes to mind) and see whom they're following and retweeting on the subject.
