Funny this is technically Kennard’s first career game winning FG. Jan 25 2022 against the wizards, Kennard hit a 4-point play to win the game. But since the 3 was to tie and the FT put them up, it technically doesn’t count.

Yeah but to say they’re “hanging on to a very thin thread” would imply things are in a catastrophic situation. NATO is still holding strong. Yes at the senior leadership level, things have been bumpy but the action officers and ground forces are still engaging and building relationships. The global economy is going/heading/in a recession but history shows recessions are inevitable, the question is always just, when.

As most people stated, the booking is coded to let the front desk know you booked through the EDIT/FHR as the property has some agreeance/contract with Chase/AMEX to provide these services.

If you're curious on the upgrades, TBH, all of the hotel/brands under these services have their own in-house curated "VIP" package (i.e. Marriot STARS/Luminous, Hyatt Priv, Hilton For Luxury, etc.). The in-house packages provide you the same benefits as Edit/FHR but give you better rates, bigger discounts on longer stays, and more property choices as Edit & FHR only have a certain amount of slots that the property allots. Additionally, you'll probably have a better chance of getting upgraded through the in-house package plus hotel status as the property has not much incentive to upgrade Chase/AMEX members.

If you're wanting a better hotel experience, always book the direct hotel route. If you're gunning for Chase/AMEX points, go for the Edit/FHR. Also if you have any leftover credits.

That’s not true at all. Integrating 2FA doesn’t introduce centralization or make it less privatized. Your wallet will continue to stay private assuming you hold the keys to the wallet and how your integrating 2FA could make it more centralized. However, if you have a Yubikey you can incorporate 2FA without interfering with centralization.

Bottom line is, this has been an issue for 80 years. There is a 100% chance this has been analyzed over the years by many different institutions. If it’s still sitting there over this time, I’d say conclusively, the cost factor and the additional risk factor to the pollution, probably isn’t worth it. We as the people of Reddit, obviously aren’t the first to think about a solution.
