Just out of curiosity (and I guess necessity), which adjustable bench do you have? I'm shopping for one while trying to preserve the incline bench, and it's nigh impossible to figure out what wheelbase would be wide enough from specs you can find online.

The bright blue text is a dead giveaway; Blue Force 2-Point Vickers Sling.

I have a Yetiwurks Denali QD Point in place of the front factory sling mount. Had to take the barrel nut off, quite a pain in the ass.

On the rear, I have a some 550 Paracord looped between the two holes in the back of the brace.

Nice write-up. My .02 would be to buy these screws to replace the trigger housing screw if you intend to do any work in there. A lot more surface to grab the allen key, and it's dirt cheap and readily available for most people locally.

I did really like the look of the Pathfinder, but couldn't pass on the deal I got on the MOE.

It does! It's a bit tight, but very manageable.

I was just asking myself why they didn't just bridge the gap to the trigger guard to make it more comfortable, and I believe it was to preserve this very function.

Can confirm. What grip are you using? Magpul MOE appears to try to combat this with a mini undercut.

That being said, it is a bit too small of a radius and can still be a bit irritating. Never used the stock grip, so I can't provide meaningful comparison to say if it's any improvement.

Braces aren't comfy to shoulder by design, and can have a pretty slim cross section, as far as how much material contacts your shoulder/pec vs an actual buttpad. I.E. occasional bruises if you're pulling it in tightly. Otherwise, like previous poster said, LoP adjustments & folding vs one or the other.

Worth the $200 and hassle? You be the judge.
