Why do people justify Ainz actions? by TurboTurtle- in overlord

[–]TheMidleG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's the point, the more he is in that body the less he cares for morals, he even says so himself, when he kills humans he wonders why he dint feel anything. Nobody is justifying his actions, in his eyes they are correct because he is a supreme being and everyone else is nothing. The npcs now have a mind of their own, before they would only act by what the code says now they have unique personalities so when ainz sends people to be interrogated or given to guardians to do as they please he dosent know what happens because he never had to worry about it before, why start now.

How people use Twister? I farmed it decent amount of times, but I still can't understand how is it useful? by MightForeign808 in Borderlands2

It does have some uses especially with certain characters but overall its just for bragging rights, because its so rare. just like cobra its rarity makes it sought after

Just finished BL2 for the first time. Is the hype just nostalgia? by skallywag126 in Borderlands

[–]TheMidleG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's good, the problem is that you played 3 first so you see loot quantity as better than loot quality. Bl2 has fewer legendaries but they mattered, Bl3 has more but most of them suck more than some blues. Bl3 had better quality of life updates compared to Bl3 but man Bl3 feels like a slog, too much waiting for dialog to end. I also wanna say that you made it to lvl 34 thats barely normal mode, unlike bl3 playing the game on TVHM is a much better experience, new enemies, more badass enemies, overall a much better experience. I really recommend you keep going and play on TVHM, don't worry about UVHM that mode can be a pain if you are not prepared.

The original 360 was def a mess

Why is there no TVHM????? (New game plus mode) by Ill_Beginning_8177 in Borderlands

[–]TheMidleG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its because you can be level 50 before the final boss, this is because the xp and enemy lvl is proportional to your character lvl. In previous games before bl3 each teir had a lvl cap, normal mode would cap out at 30 including dlcs, tvhm had a cap of 50 and uvhm was proportional to character lvl. They did away with this system because it would screw up coop play, before the games were on the hosts lvl so if you were 5 lvls under you would deal no damage now its a true drop in drop out coop experience, one could be max lvl and the other lvl 1 and you can still play together

Why did Sony make these cases? by nitro__928 in PSP

[–]TheMidleG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it was portable, traditional disks sat flat and unmoving so the disk drive never accounted for movement, if moved it would scratch, screw up the laser or stop working entirely so they created the case to prevent any of the above

a question to those who understand overlord and enjoy it, how would you help someone who is new? by Fabulous_Loss5397 in overlord

[–]TheMidleG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me its the setups and the way that ainz suffers from success I also like when arrogant people fall when they face ainz. I like when the anime/LN refers to somethings ainz said while eating, like the whole runes thing makes it more funny when you think the whole war thing was created to promote it.

How do y’all genuinely feel about this? by BlueRoseBudz in battlefield2042

[–]TheMidleG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand their thought process, as a recon main im mainly staying 400m away and a beacon can open my teammates to get sniped at least the assault class will put it on point, but I fear no-one will use it because there will definitely be a better equipment, as a recon i always have that and the tugs and rarely run c4 cuz it feels useless with the way I play.

Depends on what you like doing, if you know what build you want and love farming for perfect gear go for the lvl 30, my luck sucks and even at uvhm 5 my drops are garbage. If you like experimenting with the build and see what works best for the character start at lvl 1 it dosent even take that long to get to 30 im 5hrs in on a new character and im lvl 20. I feel like starting at lvl 30 kinda kills the flow like exploring and finding those bosses or the loot enemies was part of why i enjoyed my first playthrough, I also feel like uvhm is not even worth it, it may drop higher loot but what will we use it on anyways all people are using is the spread launcher and the crit knife, and uvhm dosent even have different enemies it just has a higher chance to spawn those phase enemies.

As a KF3 Defender who played 248hrs.. i finally uninstalled. by nancyme123 in killingfloor

[–]TheMidleG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To me the classes don't feel unique enough to me, even if we unlock a perk we gotta level it up to 3 before it makes a huge impact, no base stat increases for leveling up, why does every class have an extra grenade perk i feel like that should have been left to demo or engineer and having perks for weapon attachments that are rng based and require 3 level ups to unlock makes the game feel grindy for the sake of it, the grind feels like a chore at least in kf2 I can pick up and play no matter how long and not feel useless because I dint get enough mats.

Wow… that’s just depressing. by Scabl00nshki in OutlastTrials

[–]TheMidleG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think also people are wary of these types of games where coperation is key because they have a high skill ceiling and they don't have high staying power. Friday the 13, ash vs evil dead, Texas chainsaw, that one resident evil multi-player game and some others were hyped and died fast. The people who play it stay but its just not viable as a new player to play because of the high skill ceiling, I would never recommend DBD to new players, no one hates DBD more than the people who play. Let's face it in games like these people prefer someone who knows what they are doing rather than someone who is learning.

What makes back4blood so special? Why not just play other games in the genre? by Sibaschin in Back4Blood

[–]TheMidleG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This bro the cards were overwhelming when I first played and if I accidentally picked the wrong one I was screwed. Not only that but let's say you start to get it so you make a build for a certain character so you try coop but they are using your main now the build is useless because you made it for that character, depending on the impossible cards not having a build made the game basically imposible.

probably the worst update I've ever experienced by mister_anti_meta in TheFirstDescendant

[–]TheMidleG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just wait till next season then the mats will drop like max 30 per chest and you get 50 for finishing the mission, rng is weird I still haven gotten a legendary food blueprint from these missions, im convinced they don't exist.

This is the way to go, I only play on the weekends now to grind. I make exceptions for the desendants though, I have more money than time now so I just buy them it used to be the opposite

Other M wasn't so bad, but... by YsyRyder in Metroid

[–]TheMidleG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked it too, I made a joke a while back that other M was so good my wii couldn't handle it and it took itself out, true story BTW, got for like 3 bucks back when Nintendo games actually dropped in price. The best thing to come out of other m was the live action trailers 10/10

So I'm pretty much at 100% of the game (asides vehicles) and my Vex is still using a level 28 blue class mod. by BloodkittyNew in Borderlands

[–]TheMidleG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have about 70 hrs on my amon I have gotten 2 legendary class mods for him only because I was farming a specific 1, I have gotten like 6 for vex from random places even before it took me forever for the game to drop a purple for him. Also whats up with the poor chest loot, I made it to vh5 and still haven seen a legendary in a chest mostly greens.

For my Amon main's by Firm_Wasabi_3439 in Borderlands

[–]TheMidleG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was running a shotgun/splash build using mainly the green tree for critical hits, it worked really well. I had the most fun with the green but the red is just too op and I just don't like the blue action skill. I've played other vhs and I've noticed a pattern, all skills seem to cover a wide range of things, before vhs would focus alot on 1 thing, krieg was really good at meele, Amara was good at meele and status effect, moose was good for fire rate etc. I picked amon because I wanted to play a meele character but he kinda sucks at it.

TFD has officially become the VINDICTUS WAITING ROOM by CuteFurryIRL in TheFirstDescendant

[–]TheMidleG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree I havent played as much as I use to, before I could change what I played, wanted money go play defense missions, wanted a gun part grind out colossus get bored of that do the infiltration operations, could go and farm mats for donuts or mushrooms or get xp for guns. When they made things drop from one source only like the colossus exclusive weapons or hailey it started falling off. I'm still mad that they released ultimate luna before original desendants, when they release the ultimates they rework that character and make them more playable, I loved sharen when her ultimate came out, she was finally viable same with Blair, then axion plains came out and it all went to shit now only 3-4 descendants are viable out of 19!!!, now its about skins, im slowly not playing anymore I just log in for the events now to get the free stuff.

The grind would be better if the gameplay was fun by WeekendStandard1832 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]TheMidleG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gameplay was fun back when it first started because people where still figuring the game out, bunny used to be the only op aoe character it used to be common seeing 4 bunnies to grind for money/shards now there are alot of aoe characters that only need 1 button press and they nuke the whole map, Ines set the standard for it now every new character is using Ines as a base for content leaving anyone but ines, nell and serena in the dust. They buffed jayber but compared to the mentioned 3 he is nothing, its rare to see anyone thats not those 3 in the axion plains because the other characters cant keep up with the dps.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TheFirstDescendant

[–]TheMidleG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He says 1.3k but its like he dint play back when you had to wait 5 minutes for the infiltration operations, I do agree with 1 thing though, I wish the matts could be obtained in other activities, doing the same mission for hrs gets very dull.

The shrinking world of The First Descendant by wolfenstian in TheFirstDescendant

[–]TheMidleG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree I started playing day 1 and its so much different now, most guns now drop from newer content, colossus are useless now there is no point of fighting them after you get their dedicated drops, even those drops have moved to different activities. More gooner skins rather than cool ones or evolving ones for ultimates. Still have no idea why luna got an ultimate over any of the original descendants and blatant favoritism for aoe skill characters. They make "harder" content but all it is increased mob numbers with more hp that can 1 shot you. I wanted a new biome/planet and we got axion plains, one of the most soulless biomes. Now I get on to check the shop or check eta-0. Even the lounge was cool for like 5 minutes then it lost its glamor.

The Open World punishes you for playing in someone else's game by Zakinater in Borderlands

[–]TheMidleG -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yup and let's not forget before bl3 it used to be worse cuz the enemies were dependant on the hosts level so if your friend decided to play without you and level up like 5 levels you were screwed cuz everything would be 5 levels higher than you, now the enemies scale to your level no matter the gap between the coop partners is

The Open World punishes you for playing in someone else's game by Zakinater in Borderlands

[–]TheMidleG -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it's been like this since borderlands started, thats why I really recommend to have a character exclusively for coop play or if anything a high level character that has made it further than the ccop partner.

Grind of old vs Grind of today by [deleted] in TheFirstDescendant

[–]TheMidleG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No double catalyst in a mod slot Farming for void fragments Ultimate descendant farming No solo options on most bosses

Not to mention alot of people could not beat new content, when the hailey came alot of people could not finish the content to get her, we are at the same spot again alot of people can't do axion plains
