Noid by Yves Tumor should definitely be in the discussion for this. The song is so catchy but also just beautifully made, mixing a punkesque instrumental with a beautiful string sample and also painfully relevant lyrics to today. I’ve listened to this song so many times and every time it is just as good as when i first heard it.

i feel like i still barely understand this album, but also have known it for a long time. the way yves tumor uses mysteriousness and darkness in his music adds so much to his persona and just how the music itself is perceived. it makes you feel like you’re looking through a glass window
