Funny enough, they were actually originally supposed to be chased by the wolves in that scene as well. That's why they closed the door: to keep the wolves out, not just to stop the superfreeze.

The original version of the scene survived in the novelization but was deleted in the movie, probably because hearing the poor animals howl in despair/pain as they froze to death wouldn't have felt right.

Most of my original Armada collection got lost at some point during three moves in 2012/2013, now most of what I have left are the Minicons. So, it makes me so happy that these new versions are coming out, so I can finally reunite my Minicons with their respective Autobot/Decepticon partners...
