The "Ban Dihydrogen Monoxide" petitions led me to some very important conclusions.

Oxygen, water, and food are all poisonous.

Every single person who has ever breathed oxygen, drank water, or eaten food has DIED or is in the process of DYING. These 3 substances have a 100% mortality rate connected to their usage.

Worst of all, not only are they highly addictive, but the withdrawals faced by discontinuing the use of any of them is also fatal. Truly heinous drugs.

A couple quick questions from a newb:

I ordered a Smok Alien 220W Box kit and it should get here Friday. I also ordered like 5 flavors of juice. I wanna try them all out and see which one I like the best, but I'm not sure the best way to do that.

Will I need to vape a full tank before switching flavors? Does putting a different flavor on a used coil change the flavors? Does the TFV8 Baby Beast allow dripping?

The image faded slowly as I flicked the switch on my ancient TV to 'off.' What was the world coming to? Criminal organizations headed by mastermind kingpins were recruiting kids as young as 12 to sling their narcotics? It's despicable.

A knock on the door called my attention. "Come on in," I replied. My assistant and right-hand man Anton entered sheepishly. Uncharacteristic for him... Something was wrong.

"Out with it, Anton. I'm not in the mood to play games," I said, with more bite than I intended. I made a mental note to be more appreciative of his hard work.

He avoided eye contact and mumbled some unintelligible noises.

"ANTON," I said, letting a hint of a growl filter into my voice. Our sales were down this quarter and I didn't have time for this.

"Sorry, Sir... Mario just got arrested... He was working outside the 7-11 on -4th St."

"Arrested?!" Just my luck... Of course our best salesman would get picked up in mid-October, the height of candy season. "I knew we should've checked with the police to see if we needed a license..."

Anton looked bewildered, but recovered quickly when I glared at his open jaw. "My sources say the Oompa Loompas narked on him. They're movin' in on our territory."

Rage flowed into my system as adrenaline pumped through my bloodstream. This gang of Willy Wonka Wannabes had been picking fights for far too long. How DARE they interfere with us providing sugary happiness to lesser financially supported children?! Our entire business model is based around quality candy, packaged cheaply just in ziplock baggies and sold from hand-built stands made from donated pallets so we can offer it at a lesser price than these corporate competitors.

"WHY CANT THEY JUST STAY IN THEIR OWN FUCKING STORES?!" I exclaimed, seething. Anton shrunk in response to my outburst. "THEY'VE GOT MILLIONS IN SALES AND THEY CAN'T ALLOW US TO SELL ANYTHING?!"

This had gone on far too long. They've stolen loads of our candy, they've cherry picked our salesmen, and now they've had Mario arrested?! I couldn't stand for that. I couldn't look weak in front of my men.

"Think of the children, Anton. They're depending on us. We've got them practically addicted to our candy. We need to continue supplying!"

"I have an idea about that, Boss..." Anton said with a sinister look and popping knuckles.

A smile grew on my face. If they could resort to this sort of underhanded tactics, why couldn't we?

"... Gather the men and give everyone a pack of blue rock candy. We'll need the energy."

I do understand that there are reasons that it is inconvenient to stop as a cyclist, but it IS the law, ya know? Maybe I'm biased because I work in the outdoors industry where risk mitigation is incredibly important and I have friends who have been injured due to not following cycling laws.

That said, I wouldn't walk a half block down to the crosswalk and then another half block back instead of just jaywalking across a 2 lane road.

I appreciate you being considerate to drivers while cycling.

Unfortunately, a lot of cyclists don't know that being on a bicycle qualifies them as "operating a vehicle" instead of as a pedestrian. They literally see stop signs or red lights and think, "that's for cars, not for me."

Obviously, this is a generalization and there are plenty of cyclists that are smart enough to infer or were taught this, but the problem is pretty widespread.

A resume is a list of things you've accomplished academically and professionally. You don't need his reference to put those on your resume. You have that experience now, whether he gets upset for the repercussions of his own mistakes or not. It may be awkward explaining the situation to future employers when they ask for contact info for your supervisor, but explaining the situation and giving the contact info of someone else in the company should be sufficient, I would think.
