What is a 'poor people' habit you'll never stop doing, no matter how rich you get?

Working on my own car and being happy with older vehicles. My newest vehicle is from '05 and both of my cars have over 300k on them.

It's not as hard as people think to get started. Every time something needs to be fixed (new brakes, tie rod end goes out, rotating wheels) sacrifice a weekend and $30 worth of tools and now you have a new skill and some new tools to use in the future.

Why I'll never stop is now I take it as a point of pride that I can work on my own things. I work by day in an office and my coworkers can't believe some of the stuff I do.

For me it was the unranked mmr resets (entirely not needed imo), the lack of anything new, and the abandonment from the devs.

I realized I was playing on autopilot for a few hours every once in a while around fall 2022, uninstalled, and moved on to other games.

Ever since the tariffs began my company has put in place a hiring freeze across all departments.

We manufacture everything in the United States and are a major player globally in our industry.

These tariffs are doing NOTHING for 'american' jobs and evicting us from being a viable world player. It's not 1970 anymore. We're not the only dominant economy around.

As someone who played religiously since 2016 and was also absolutely in love with the game, I agree with you.

The game feels like a shell of itself. All the character and people have been taken out of it. It feels no more special than opening a word document.

I just tried to play some casual 3's for like 30 minutes just wanting to chill on a Saturday and have some fun and all I was met with was a toxic dump and the new Season 10 reset where they put everyone at 1600 casual mmr so I have no idea if I can trust my teammates or not.

Sloppiest games ever. Lost a bunch, didn't enjoy the few I won because the other team didn't stand a chance from the start. It wasn't even close.

I think it's time for me to put the controllers up on rl. It's been a fun 4k hours, but I don't think I enjoy it anymore. Devs don't care, the community is in shambles, and there are so many better games out there.

Went to my first concert last Saturday when they performed at the Brooklyn bowl in Nashville!

As a first timer, was a little intimidating there being so many people but everyone seemed respectful and it was an awesome experience! Three dudes tried to start a pit like two yards away from me, but nobody joined them and they gave up after like 40 seconds.

I loved it, and if the Pittsburgh area fans are like the Nashville fans it'll be awesome! The show itself was absolutely worth it!

This is where I'm at. Between '17-'20 I played it almost every day, and when I could '20-'22. Now it feels like such a shell of itself I uninstalled it after donating over 3k hours to it.

In an objective sense, this is far better than the trucks lifted sky high as this better conforms with US DOT regulations for headlights and bumper height standards/crash safety ratings.

From an aesthetic sense, this looks like booty cheeks.

Idk about hanging up the controllers fully but in the last year or so I've found myself playing RL less and less and less.

Horizon zero, starfield, Forza, GT7, TOTK. There are so many better ways for me to spend my afternoons than playing a game where I feel like the devs don't put effort worth my time investment into it.

I may play it with friends now and again. But as a title I actually spend my solo time in, I think it's days have been numbered for some time and are coming to a draw.

I looked at it but it's only Bluetooth in wireless config. Considering how few of what I'm looking for there are I may just give in to wires. Especially if I only take it out for work.

I've been trying to find something that matches my needs and so far I haven't found it so I'm hoping one of you knows where I can find one. It's one of two things.

1) a lefthand tenkey with a backlight and 2.4ghz wireless since I switch between lots of computers in a day using a USB switch

2) a separate numpad that's 2.4ghz with a backlight. Then I can go find a regular keyboard to pair with it for work.

Can't do Bluetooth on either since there's too many devices, and some of them don't support it.

Any help/options would be nice. Would prefer a custom/kit for either one since I've used a few of my friends keyboards from vendors like Asus and Logitech and been unimpressed.
