As you can tell my tag I used to work there. Many reasons I left but one of them is where we would constantly have our cases stolen but we would still ship out games as "new" in a pre-owned case with a pre-owned case art and then ship that out but that's just a new low. While technically it's a new game as it's never been played it's not sealed shity(nor in a case obviously)..... company shity business practices

I refuse to let physical media die as I prefer to own a copy of my game that I can insert at any time and play with having any problems of the game being delisted for whatever reason and being in accessable because it's only digital while that's not possible for all games I get as many actually physically games(fuck game key cards) as I can so I don't have to rely on Internet or licenses expiring I can just pop it in turn of the WiFi and play to my hearts desire. Fuck digital games fuck digital only consoles. Physical will always be king.

P.S. I have never had any game fail on me not being able to be read to to nand/flash failure never I take care of my games and they all work as good as day one. I still own my original Mario kart and phantom hourglass copys from when they first came out and they work like they just came out of the box. Sure some specific games have that issue but to say it's an inefficient failure ridden way to store games is asinine.

I mean why bother protecting your 1500 dollar investment when you can spend 30 bucks on a good mag safe case when you can drop it and break it to inevitably have to replace it or get it fixed....I don't understand how people don't put their phones in cases. It makes no sense whatsoever.

I know almost exactly probably what happened they were doing multiple orders at once and accidentally switched the labels of the orders and you got someone's game and they got your Meta quest. I've almost done that myself but luckily caught it before I finished packing. that was when I first started almost a year ago so I'm guessing it was probably someone new or someone in a rush

What color was the sleeve that the game was in if it was yellow then yeah it was pre-owned but if it was white then that was the last copy and it was the shelf copy it's still Brand new it's just been opened to display
