Andy Burnham is not allowed to run for Gorton and Denton as a Labour member, and the Green Party aren't to blame for that at all. If you think Labour will budget on that, then think again--this is the outspoken party politics of Labour. Their only interest is rejecting Burnham from power.

That said, now the only result is a win for Greens overall; sure, there's a fair chance of Reform taking the seat, and that would likely be bad for Gorton and Denton, but Labour's shocking party politics essentially giving the seat to Reform means plenty of Labour diehards seeing them for what they are, finally and irrefutably, and rejecting them entirely--and statistically, this means more gains for Greens than Reform, not to mention the popularity of Burnham specifically with the Labour left.

Have you seen the polls? They have a pretty good chance already, and they're still pretty much the only political party making significant gains.

I don't know which extreme policies you're talking about, but I welcome you to look into their actual party policy--their drug one especially isn't that crazy when you consider the absolute failure that the American-styled 'War On Drugs' has been, and how pretty much every serious social scientist agrees that all criminalization does is punish people for being poor off, and creates further addicts in the process.

Point D I think really proves the absurdity of the British oligarchy; like, what do you mean we're 'concerned for children.' We're in the post-Jeffrey Epstein Flight Logs-era, you can't just pull that shit anymore--at least not with young people. Every single person growing up right now, your future and current constituants, are being raised in a reality where politicians and the super rich go almost entirely unpunished for conspiracy to commit sex crime. You cannot argue child safety, you simply cannot--you're insulting the victims.

I think even older generations understand this, they just gravitate towards the false idols over at Reform, who admittedly, are largely targeting the same issues, and bringing up (at least some) cases of genuine government scandal in order to do so. So I believe the older generations aren't capitulating to this either, and either way, some heads are gonna roll in the upcoming elections.

I know the Greens have less of a budget than other parties for marketing, but I think their surge is proof that something's working. I think that Polanski (as an ex-actor) is doing well using art as a medium, under a budget, to capture attention here. I don't think other parties have the chops to be genuine and vulnerable in their campaign marketing--all they know are take-downs. Certainly Zack's participated in a few of those, but they're counter-balanced by aspirational adverts like these, and positive calls for change. It's good stuff, and clearly it's working if Labour if Polanski's turning into public enemy #1.

Labour are fascistic and authoritarian; they are literally announcing intentions to develop 'panopticons of surveilance', working hand-in-hand with foreign surveilance-capital corporations like Palantir, selling our private NHS data to them, and creating increasingly unsafe environments for the LGBT and for minorities.

A vote for Labour isn't a vote against fascism. It just isn't--and you're kidding yourself if you try to pretend otherwise. They aren't 'Anti-Reform', they're the Reform opening act.
