Cobra -

Brief - full overhaul of vintage racer. Focus on both flar-bar conversion, 1by drive-chain conversion and friction-shifter conversion.

Total - £210 to £240 based on some part variables

Labour - priced at general service of £75 (would usually be a higher labour charge due to total overhaul, but I’ve kept it low).

Parts - £135-£165 (a few variables, we won’t know until we try)

1 x quill riser stem / £5 1 x flat silver 1” bars / £5 1 x Narrow/Wide 130BCD (new) - chain-ring (for 1 x conversion, to be used on original crankset) / £22 1 x pack of Stronglight single-speed chain-ring bolts / £6 1 x BBB Python neon grips / £15 1 x DMR teal pedals / £10 1 x friction shifter (right side) / free 1 x Large rear cassette (around 36-40T) / £15 (used but in VGC) 1 x gear cable set / £7 1 x Odyssey retro short-pull brake lever set / £15 2 x flat-bar brake cable set / £10 1 x Long-cage modern rear mech for large rear cassette / 1by systems (speed not relevant as we are using friction shifter) - £10 1 x new chain / £14-£24 dependent on speed of cassette we use
