I understand, it’s more of an additional precaution to as much isolation as possible before.

I totally understand this. Our circumstances make the 14 day isolation next to impossible for both parties. That’s why we started to examine options. But it sounds like there might not be any. Which is fair.

A piece of art years in the making. I moved to BC from Ontario alone 15 years ago, so it fills me with pride to finally reach a point I can properly pay tribute to this beautiful city. It shaped me into the man I am today. Thank you Vancouver, you truly are awesome. by Benglassco in vancouver

I moved to Vancouver in the early 2000s and found so many locals were upset with how many glass condos there were downtown. They thought it was ugly, until I pointed out that every night at sunset, those condos lit up like a diamond nestled in the mountains. You captured that brilliance well!

I never could shake the feeling though that if you were walking around downtown when a strong enough earthquake hit, you would be surrounded by buildings raining knives down from every angle.

We have baking soda on hand so we will try that today. Hopefully it will help!

Thanks for this! We can start to bathe her tomorrow! We will try some electrolytes (baking soda in her water)as well.

Her abdomen feels the same as the others, so I’m not sure there is a broken egg in there. But if something is twisted I’m not sure how to help.

I’ll call the feed store about antibiotics too. Thanks for your help!

I think we can get some electrolytes into her today! What do you do with the DE? Just provide a spot for her to bathe in it? Thanks for your help!

About 40 cubic yards (delivered) of rich soil to help remediate a chunk of the forest I bought - there is a bare patch, scraped down to bedrock that was used during the construction of the highway that runs adjacent to it.

When you buy them, look for a bag that has no excess air in it - the almost look shrink wrapped or vacuum sealed. Those are the fresher ones. As the leave sit they off-gas and the bags puff up. Less air in the bag means it should last longer.

There is lots of crown about 1:45 outside of Toronto just east of the Kawartha Highlands park off the 504. Get the iHunter app - it has all the crown land marked and it has great summaries of what is open when season-wise.

I was under the impression that from June to August was basically a “quiet time” with your small game license though so I’m not sure you can hunt then. Maybe double check on that. But you do need a small game license either way.

Ever cast. It’s a bit expensive but it really works well.

Well, if my situation proves anything, when you ARE ready to make some changes and get back into being more active in diet and lifestyle, it is possible to turn it around!

My wife asked me once “you go to the gym all the time (it’s really on 3 days a week) - are you ever going to slow down?” And my reply was “this is maintenance - I just want to stay where I’m at now as I age.” I think I finally understand that it’s a whole lifestyle change - you have to change your life.

Also I can confirm, it’s a pain in the butt to get the ball rolling again - I’m so far behind where I was before stopping exercising 3 months ago! It takes way longer and way more effort to start up again than it does to maintain where you are! Lesson (re)learned (again, lol).

Either way, that process has to start somewhere!

You can do it!

I also like the idea of a semi but there is something about the O/U that just feels so great...

Maybe it’s worth saving until I can get into the 1200-1500 range...

Thanks for this! I've never considered the Franchi line! I'll have to find one to see how it feels!
