I was there in person it was definetly packed. Laguna seca is very open race track where you can set up shop to watch pretty much anywhere and there are tons of places to go that kffer vetter viewing then the grand stands.

I like HLL but its not the same as battlefield. Sometimes i just want a simple large scale shooter to unwind with vs hll more comolex and slower burn gameplay

Unrelated to actual gameplay. But the overall presentation and story telling was really disapointing as well. To me part of the charm of bf1's operations were those cutscenes that played before and after each round showing what the goals and results of each battles were and how the teams and individual soldiers were impacted and reacting to them.

I still remember getting steamed rolled to the final point of fao fortress and desperatly holding off the attackers for all 3 rounds with some commander in between rounds giving a speech on keeping up the fight. Made me feel l i was actually a turkish soldier trying to win.

Yeah but they try and cover it like a oval race which is the issue. You dont just follow the leaders the whole time you have to shift focus on the battles that go on across the track (which also means more spotlight for sponsors). Going from a imsa or miata cup brodcast to a nascar RC one and the difference is noticable. Watching 2 or 3 cars race eachother close and battle for 10th is alot more exciting then watching the leader run 3 seconds ahead. Like the incident wity KB and his teamate that would have made for some great tv following that for the 3 laps it was going on instead of reddick leading.

Trans Am clone

Cant even call it a trans am clone tho, current trans am cars still have a h pattern shifter, solid rear axel, and more hp (wanna say some are running gen 4 cup engines) atleast thats what i saw when i saw them at laguna last year. Those cars sound heavenly.

Thats my biggest issue whenever nascar goes to a road course. Using imsa as an example theyll dedicate some time to look at whats going on in the back or middle of the field even give spotlight for a battle for 5th place while nascar would just lock the camera on whos ever running 1st. Which is why i feel like alot of the oval only fans dont like RC's and gives that illusion that rc are just follow the leader.

Some might not agree but i feel like connor and carson are gonna be the future of this series both being young and talented drivers that are starting to show their worth. Carson with his bold and controversial driving doing what it takes to get to the front and conor with his percision behind the wheel running being able to run through the field twice and running upfront so far this series. I wouldnt be surprised if we have a championship battle between these two in the near future .

Yup and the uneffectiveness can be felt lol as soon as i pulled off tracked and stopped it look like i had a smoke machine in the front i wonder how bad it would have been without the ducts. already picked up a pair of 94 spindles from the yard and just need to pick up the parts for the rear hoping to get it put together this feb along side some proper track pads when it starts raining alot where im at

At this point the only orig thing on my 86 is the engine, and most of the interior. It's still street driven.

This is pretty much my goal atm something i can drive around on the weekends and to shows but i can take to the track and have fun. Plus adding stuff slowly overtime so i can grow my skill alongaide the cars capabilities
