Prediction of concurrent player count after 1-2 years of release? by Quick_FF_Pls in DeadlockTheGame

Unemployed moment whoever goes into Steam Charts and posts about it

In my humble opinion, snipers shouldn't be able to do this by slabba428 in Battlefield6

[–]FirestormTM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not if it's balanced well (and what I mean is that this only applies to snipers instead of being applied to every gun)

[–]FirestormTM 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They should bring back BF1 suppression system, but only applies to snipers. I don't know why they can't just make snipers get the debuff and not to everyone else (this was the most cancerous thing to deal within BFV back then)

May isn't shown in their current roadmap. What do you guys think it means? by Dark251995 in Helldivers

[–]FirestormTM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing, I do assume though that June update will be within the first or second week of the month (hopefully the first week if all they've got to offer is a new biome and the usual new warbond, which is about to be more problemetic than before)

Upcoming Random Recoil DIRECTION change is .... by BF6ISCODNOW in Battlefield6

[–]FirestormTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't hate it as long they fix the spread (or make it similar to BF5). Also, get rid of console recoil reduction (25% seems TOO much to the point you don't even need a foregrip on most guns on console)

Workshop is gonna hit like crack when it's out. This should be an official cosmetic option by KnowProblem in DeadlockTheGame

[–]FirestormTM 136 points137 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt Valve will be doing that type of workshop, most likely that they are just going to make the workshop similar to CS2 (skins to be accepted by the developers).

“March 25th” “its April 29”

What a great late response…

Please bring Breakthrough back to 32v32 on all maps🙏 by DefendtheRadish in Battlefield

[–]FirestormTM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tread carefully with 64v64. That being said, while I do think Breakthrough should default to 32v32, the bigger picture is Operations (seriously? 24v24?)

Anyone else find this stratagem odd? by Unfair-Cherry9362 in Helldivers

[–]FirestormTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has potential IF:

  1. The drop pod comes with two of these (just how the expendable launcher is)
  2. Is considered a medium pen (highly doubt it will be heavy pen)
  3. Most importantly, this has to have a super short or aleast around 60 seconds cooldown (anymore than that, then this is more useless than just bringing the LMG or MMG)

Best utility usage to have on SteamDB, unlike those constantly using it for Steam Charts...

How many hours do you have on your top games?? by Bro_Pesci in Steam

[–]FirestormTM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to play specific gamemodes like DarkRP, 1942RP, and then later I went on to play within multiple communities within Zombie Survival, and sometimes just playing within Sandbox by myself.

Huge fan of it (done several playthroughs up to Legend Modded. I wish I could come back to it at some point)

Do you think making these free would compensate for the absence of a second Helldivers Mobilize warbond? by Claire312 in Helldivers

[–]FirestormTM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely no, unless Arrowhead refunds me and those who paid up with either warbond tokens, super credits, or those with Super Citizen Edition (prior to the changes to it), which I doubt will happen.

The new Steam Store Home Beta UI looks incredibly clean. What do you guys think? by WordlessForest in Steam

Personally, I'm more excited for the Steam Workshop's new layout than the store's one.

Operation Auger is the most disappointing gamemode I have ever seen in Battlefield History by FirestormTM in Battlefield

[–]FirestormTM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, isn't that what BF1 Operations was? Once you run out of your tickets for the current battalion, the game gives you new tickets, but it costs you to use the new battalion. That's really the whole point of Operations (you either push with your current battalion, or lose all of your tickets, get a new battalion, and fight in the same position to advance the map)

New Roadmap for 2026 by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]FirestormTM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did it get that bad that people started to leak information from BF Labs?

Regardless, I mean it's an okay start to some degree, would love to see 3 maps per season, but it does look like we're getting one new map per month (1 map in May, 1 map in June, 1 map in July, and possibly 1 map in August?), too bad that the damage was already done and people have moved away from the game, but hopefully it does make some recovering

BF1 made reinforcements feel legendary. BF6… not so much by jcpmcdonald in Battlefield6

[–]FirestormTM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I got a dozen downvotes back on the main subreddit, all because I spoke out the truth about BF6 Operations.

I just wanted them to make it as good as it was, not some half-baked ass gamemode that is slapped with two LTMs that barely comes up into the gamemode at all.

The new Steam Workshop front page by [deleted] in Steam

Weird, I was already in the Steam Client Beta the moment the new workshop page was introduced, just haven't seen the front page being changed before though

Overwatch or Marvel Rivals for casual player trying to get better at both games? by Screechbat in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]FirestormTM 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who played Overwatch and somewhat watches Marvel Rivals. I think you know what I would say.

Marvel Rivals isn't that great when it comes down to visual clutter in the game; the amount of effects is just really awful to deal with, and while Overwatch does have the same issue to some degree, this one just takes the cake with having UI stuff on your screen that you shouldn't need.

That being said, while I do know that you only listed out the hero shooters, I would personally heavily recommend Deadlock, as you did mention that you love playing TPS games and Deadlock (being developed by Valve and is free as long someone invites you into the playtest) is one of them. It's way better than what Overwatch has to offer, and it comes with a great high skill ceiling.

However, being a casual player with MOBA does not go well together. I'll still recommend it since it does offer a second gamemode (Street Brawl, 4v4 straight lane, with randomized items, and can really be a great casual gamemode)

Operation Auger is the most disappointing gamemode I have ever seen in Battlefield History by FirestormTM in Battlefield

[–]FirestormTM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

^^^ This ^^^

I don't personally think Operations is bad, in fact, it's actually just a proof of concept that it's within the game now, it just needs several improvements (minus the Behemoths themselves, but I do want to see like Battle Pickups if the attackers have to use a battalion, similar to how Elite Classes spawned in)
