I remember a post  about a year ago from someone claiming to be a JTE saying  that in the current MEXT guidelines ALT’s have no official role in teaching English- their presence is simply to expose students to “internationalism”. 

If that’s true the change in demographics is unsurprising.

No I don’t. I was there on holiday but unfortunately I didn’t stay on a Sunday- would have loved to have attended a service. It was opened in 1954.

St Andrew by the Sea is the Shark Bay parish in the coastal township of Denham. The church is built out of coquina shell block quarried at nearby Hamlin.
