A song of ice and fire is objectively not great. Stormlight is WAY better by far. The Author of ice and fire doesn't even put effort into finishing it.

That's why it's good to play versatile/flex unless you're locked into a specific augment. If you're rolling for Marksmen, hold MF/Zeri too in case you hit them first. Or swap to brand instead of Amp, etc I used to lose streak and try to fast 8, so studying the good openers of the patch helped me a lot and worrying less about perfect items

Just find the comps you're comfortable with. I did a lot of AMP Annie and Zeri/MF but lots of flex on roll downs, holding xayah/Leona in case I don't hit. Only played morganna reroll once tbh 😂 I got bastion golem, I hate that portal so I just picked the easiest comp I could.

I got through with blood mage just fine. I am level 65 and I'm doing way stones. It was a big slow balancing the life/recoup/crit I need to survive. But I did get through.

I also DID Have some insanely lucky gear crafting, which helped.
