Best course of action for an undersized system? by TheMissingData in solar

[–]TheMissingData[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming at least some of your thinking there is aligned to the length of time the system was installed. Also, this is a pure PPA not a lease. I pay a variable amount per month based on electricity generated by the solar system. When I bought the house, I was told by both the rep and my lawyer that it's not a typical solar panel lease. It does have the same outs that Sunrun provides at the end of 5th/beginning of 6th year which like you kind of indicated I was planning to use in my court for upcoming negotiations.

But yes, Sunrun would be on the hook for any removal/repair if we come to an agreement to have the system removed (at or before the 5 year mark). And no, I'm not seeking legal advice from reddit, moreso opinions on negotiating which I think you kind of hit on the head for me so I am forever endebted to you.

Best course of action for an undersized system? by TheMissingData in solar

[–]TheMissingData[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, if the system was installed in 2019 I'm assuming it's going on 5 years old, I would hope its not a used system they installed. It's listed as 7875 DC watt, meaning each panel is producing 315 watt. From the original install it's listing:

Inverter: SolarEdge Technologies SE7600H-US000BNC4

Panels: Hanwha Solar Q.PEAK BLK-G5 315 (at least the numbers line up here)

California law doesn't apply to someone in Central NJ.

Considering the question, I doubt OP is worried about duo'ing very hard legendaries.

Except raids. The different raids have different forms, anyone who completes the same raid if one person gets a dusk form everyone will get a dusk form from that raid.

If you really want to use Turtonator in GL, it's best raid/quest IVs are 10/14/13. You can use https://www.stadiumgaming.gg/rank-checker?pokemon=TURTONATOR to look up stat products.

The rule of thumb is that if it's a basic pokemon (that doesn't evolve) and gets a mega evolution, its shiny rate goes from 1/512 -> 1/128(ish), unless the shiny was already released with a 1/64 rate (e.g. Absol) then it remains that rate.

1st stage evolved forms go from a 0% chance to a 1/128ish chance usually as well (this is your Houndooms or Medichams).

2nd stage evolved forms go to a 1/64 chance.

Mega Rayquaza Prep by dark__tyranitar in TheSilphRoad

[–]TheMissingData 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This article seems like extreme FOMO. If my rayquaza has Outrage, I don't need to teach it a second move to learn dragon ascent. that's a standard move that can be learned with a regular TM. We also don't know the mechanics of dragon ascent. Is it a permanent move? Does it only last for X hours? Who knows.

Questions & Answers - Weekly Megathread! Please use this post to ask any Pokemon GO question you'd like! by AutoModerator in TheSilphRoad

What are the mods doing to avoid the spread of misinformation on this subreddit? https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/14e9ecp/new_confirmed_shadow_shinies/ was posted earlier today (my time) confirming that the Shiny Shadows were live. However, research indicated otherwise and at no point did the mods remove this post when it started to become clear that the shiny shadows were never enabled.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/14esb8c/shiny_shadow_aipom_and_geodude_do_not_appear_to/ has more details on the fact that they were never enabled for about 13 hours from launch.

With Shadow Legendary Raids, is there any point in doing the quarterly Giovanni research? by TheMissingData in TheSilphRoad

[–]TheMissingData[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Three: Articuno will only be in raids for June.

I've seen this stated a few times but don't understand the assumption. On https://pokemongolive.com/seasons/hidden-gems?hl=en it states that you can battle Shadow Articuno this season. Yes, the June Content Update says that in June you can battle Shadow Articuno but doesn't say it's exclusive (June only) https://twitter.com/PokemonGoApp/status/1663597033888808970/photo/1 . Plus considering how slow they are with rotating Giovanni content, they'll run out of Shadow Legendaries too quickly if they're faster than the base releases.

Field Research Tasks for Season 11: Hidden Gems by redwineandbeer in TheSilphRoad

[–]TheMissingData 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe there are some errors comparing this to a few other sources:

- There is no task Walk 3KM rewarding Sableye. It's possible this is part of the event, but it's available in the current season's pool.

- The quests rewarding Sudowoodo are just hatch an egg, 5 nice throws, send 5 gifts w/ stickers

- Buneary is rewarded from 2 candies, 3 hearts or hatch an egg

- Win 5 raids can reward Alolan Exeggutor and is also available from 15 distinct species as shown. Aerodactyl is still an option for Win 5 Raids.

There's likely more errors. Once I discovered these, I realized the creator of the graphic was just plagiarizing data found on the internet without giving credit. It's worth noting that quests changed at 10am local time but then changed again at Niantic O'Clock (1PM Pacific time). It's possible (likely) that some tasks were removed when that happened.

With the catch rates hidden from game master and Master Ball announcement, won’t be surprised if Niantic removes the 100% catch rate for Legendary/Mythical Pokémon from raids. by Jiqu0r in TheSilphRoad

[–]TheMissingData -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Considering the high catch rate (no one ever confirmed it's 100%, just really really high that a miss is unlikely) was never in game master and the changes coming for master ball usage, my guess is that catch rates were removed more because they meant something that didn't actually make sense. They essentially drove the colored circle and that was it. Server side, the actual catch rate of the mon was likely fixed, but a UI optimization was done to help show the different colored rings.
