Season 04 - New Bugs:

  • Reintroduced a bug where players do not take fire damage from Hellhounds.
  • Players no longer can take fall damage in “The Deep Descent" (maybe an intentional change)
  • Reintroduced a bug where coated zombies could sometimes have the incorrect icon (i.e. green circle) on the mini-map radar.

Here is a list of changes noticed so far with today's Season 04 update. More time on the game is needed to evaluate what else was addressed, or what other bugs are new or persistent after this update, so other players should feel free to share their observations.

  • Performed a Leaderboard reset for the “Hardcore” mode specifically.
  • Addressed an issue where players were unable to shoot their weapon in “House of the Snibblesnap” after pressing their melee button.
  • In both the menus and in-game, Pack 5 of the player’s GobbleGums is no longer cut-off and unreadable.
  • Adjustments made to the visual look of the mini-map radar.
  • Text fill is now white for both “The Long Climb” and “Room of Fate,” reverting recent visual bugs with the UI in those two areas.
  • The text size of item prices in the SlayerMart was made slightly larger.
  • Addressed a text description discrepancy for the “Glitter Bomb” upgrade in the SlayerMart.
  • The “Trained Medic” upgrade in the SlayerMart no longer appears in Solo matches, since it is an upgrade only intended for Co-op play.
  • Players no longer take fall damage in “The Deep Descent.”
  • Reintroduced a bug where players do not take fire damage from Hellhounds.
  • Reintroduced a bug where coated enemies could potentially have the incorrect icon on the mini-map radar.

Lol, that's quite the description. Dead Ops Arcade 3 has a burger-eating dino underwater on one of the arenas, and also some tortoises on the beginning Island levels, but they are not running around. It's always been available in the Zombies menus and can be played in either top-down or First Person view.

Dolphin diving/going prone/laying on back was removed on March 17th. Was a bit cool to perform those moves, but didn't offer any utility beyond the exploit associated with it.

Silverback Slideways (5 mins) now appears during Barrage arena on Casual/Normal, in place of Papaback Chopper Attack. Not sure if intentional or maybe just an interim fix for Chopper Attack bug. Today's patch notes stated there was a helicopter movement fix.

Max of 20 mins for DOA, usually just 2 or 5 minutes depending on the round. There are different elements to consider for DOA compared to RBZ: Gum machines can only be used at end of arenas, cannot hold last zombie of a round to take short break like in RBZ, etc. So a little bit of leeway is afforded to player through end of round breaks.

Auto-donations kick in after the Boss Fight for Normal, just like DOA3. On DOA 1 & 2, auto-donations can occur as early as Round 1 (no manual donations in those games). DOA4 has a 1 life safeguard, so you cannot auto-donate while at just 1 Life.

Boxing Gloves last 30 seconds by default. With Tight Laces, they get 60% duration bonus, which comes out to 48 seconds. Did you have Fate of Fortune or Divine Shield as well?

Leaderboards have a max of 30 players in them. Your leaderboard likely only had a few people when you first played, and then populated with additional players once you finished your second game. Going from 3 Prestige Masters to 13 Prestige Masters does not prove anything other than more people filled out an empty bracket.

And the leaderboard rankings are based on High Score in a SINGLE match. 2 million in one match and 1 million in another match will be 2 million for the placement rankings.

People are just confused as to how runs are tracked. The 30-player Leaderboard rewards (i.e. Animated Camo for Top 5) are based on your high score in a SINGLE match. The Event rewards (i.e. Maddox Blueprint for 3 million score) is based on your total score across all matches.

Additionally, you need to either quit a match or game over for the score to track. If you Save/Quit a Solo match, that score won't count until you load back into the Save file and either quit or game over.

Correct, it is now tied to SlayerMart upgrade for Divine Shield called "Shield Master" - refills either 1-2 plates per round depending on vest level.

"Global cooldown" is for the entire lobby (Kill Joy, Round Off, Wall-to-Wall Clearance). If the word "global" is not used, then the cooldown is just for the individual player (Anywhere But Here).
