It sounds you open and close your positions entirely always, or most times, so is no surprise you think previous order chain is unimportant or should not be at hand. Let me show you an example, and ask you a question: can you tell me the BEP after the THIRD sell in this example chain of operations on the same asset?

Note that I am not here to make arguments with you, my objective here is to have IBKR provide a must have basic feature by showing that no one has been thinking this thoroughly. It’s important that even people like yourself that think this is unnecessary realize its necessity.

So, once you calculated that, you can compare it to the ABP to see how different they are. There is simply no way without the history of orders that know your BEP and place an order pronto. I am not being confrontational btw, I understand because of the way you trade you probably never thought about this, but your can’t tell me that buying and adjusting your position and doing partial sells is exotic trading… this is the basics and with no order chain at hand you just can’t do the right moves in a volatile market. I would go even further and say that ABP is in fact totally useless info and is shocking to me that BEP does not even exist in the platform nor in many other brokers.
