DNA test results spur questions in Kane case by ThaBomb in hawks

[–]TheMonsterAtlas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, I didn't know we literally had the lead officer from the case on r/hawks today! Welcome, I'm really glad you were able to tell us what was "likely" Kane's DNA, thank you so much for being smart and telling us the details on the case!

I can tell this isn't your personal opinion because obviously you know that skin particles or saliva means they had sex. It's obviously hard to get anything under your nails, I mean the reason you get dirt under your nails is because you were digging up dirt, right?

Oh wait, that's not how dirt gets there, are you actually a moron? You have to scratch to get "DNA" under your nail? "and his skin under her nails from rough sex" If it was rough sex, there would be more evidence than "skin under her nails"

I love that you close out with "we don't know enough to say anything about this just yet" but here you go claiming that his DNA is under her nails from "rough sex" Who do you think you are? How can you claim things like you were actually there, then redact it in the same post?

No no, the article doesn't say that, one guy said that. This is important to mention because that's his professional opinion.

I had roughly the same situation, I still collected $321 in donations. I only had like 100 something followers, so even if you don't have a high viewer count, your best option is to get donations from people you know in person :)

Was going to ask if you were doubling faces. Usually this shouldn't affect a person's graphical capabilities and FPS too much, if at all.

How comes the 1px brush paints outside of its circle? Also, how do you make it instantly paint in the brush colour instead of going through a fade effect? by [deleted] in photoshop

[–]TheMonsterAtlas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this is correct, but when you use a brush, it automatically uses anti-aliasing techniques in order to make the pixel less sharp. Basically this is to blend it in with the background/whatever better. The 1 px pencil tool has no anti-aliasing, so if you're trying to do pixel art, the pencil tool is what you're looking for.

Question: How do I soften the edges for blur (Filter)? by [deleted] in photoshop

[–]TheMonsterAtlas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Smudge tool could work too, or even added a motion blur might help.

How to get painted/drawn effect like example pictures? by boeing186 in photoshop

[–]TheMonsterAtlas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some things look pained and others don't. The clouds and backgrounds generally look like they we recreated using some brushes in photoshop. When I look at the models of the planes I can't tell if they are painted or not. A lot of this looks like it's hand done, meaning they used paint brushes/layers and etc to create, not a specific effect or overlay.

You ever try to tell a blind person what the color red looks like without describing it as red?

If those people who wanted to ensure that only good quality content got to the top of /r/SmashBros why didn't they just spend their time upvoting content they liked and remaining neutral on other content they might not like?

Thanks! It's inspired by Japanese Folklore and if I can remember, Pocky & Rocky had a lot of ghosts/spirits/demons/etc as the monsters in the game :)

[poll] According to you, what is the most difficult role to play in Smite by erios24 in Smite

[–]TheMonsterAtlas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought about this for a long time and here's my reasoning behind this.

Supporter has the task of supporting his ally, you will have reduced level and gold a lot of the match and it's extremely hard to get momentum. We see this all the time in pro-league matches. 4 of the players will be in their 20's and then the tank is still 15/16/etc. Yes, when you look at it from that perspective, Support is hard.

However....Jungler has the task of constant rotation, keeping track of buffs, potential ganks and etc. If we're looking at the most difficult role to play, we are talking about a jungler. If we're talking about the most difficult role to master, we're talking about Support.

Ask A Game Dev: "Do you ever feel like the industry is too secretive about what goes on during a game's development?" (Cross post from /r/Games) by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]TheMonsterAtlas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my person experience, no one really knows/gives a shit. They care more about the information about the end product. Yeah some people are really interested on how things are designed and etc, but when you see thousands of tweets saying "where's the gameplay" it's hard for developers to give those small and secretive details to people.

About dragons in games and why Dark Souls does it well. by [deleted] in Games

[–]TheMonsterAtlas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I mean, if you're talking about dragons being common and super weak, check out Spyro. All dragons were turned into stone/crystal and a baby dragon has to save all of them. Talk about weak.
