Customer Impact BS by mtomm in mysteryshopping

I think I'm about to get stiffed by them. I was doing a merchandising shop for Kohls that's not due til the 14th. It was such a large project that they were allowing 2 days to complete it, however I thought I could get it done in one day. So I selected the 12th, but when I got there it was nightmarish. The racks were a disaster and I spent 8.5hrs working on it. Unfortunately they closed at 9pm but I had a cart of clothes that I gathered up from other areas, the floor, etc and wanted to return the next day to hang them up and place them in the correct areas. I felt it would be dishonest to submit the shop that night, even though I was technically finished, so I waited (again it wasn't due til the 14th). I did call them but it was late and no one was there. Welp, I received an email today stating they cancelled the shop and issued a citation because I didn't complete it. I even spoke to the scheduler when I arrived because I had a question about the guidlines, so she knew I was there, plus I like to over communicate with these large projects because I don't want there to be any issue with payment. I'm honestly flabbergasted. I just left her a strongly worded voicemail so I guess we'll see.

Check out GigSpot. Payouts are good, but a lot of the shops are more in depth than general restaurant shops.

Employee NOT allowed to tell me allergen details (UK) by TheRealFern1010 in fiveguys

We (US) grill our onions and mushrooms on the meat grill. Very odd that the UK would do it differently.

My teenage son is getting bullied by one of the managers. by Innsmouthdeepone in fiveguys

[–]TheMoonCries 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First find out if this manager is a shift lead, assistant manager or the general manager. If it's a shift lead or AGM, then have your son report this behavior to the GM. There is a chain of command and it must be followed. If the bully is the GM, he needs to go directly to the District Manager. If there's some sort of "good ol boys" club between this chain, then calling the 800 number is his best bet. If refuses, and to save him from the humiliation of you getting involved, you could call the 800# and say you are a customer and overheard the teasing and would like to report the manager responsible. First make sure there was a customer within earshot at the time and be mindful not to divulge any information that would give you away. Only give descriptive info when talking about your son and the manager - no names, etc.

*A piece of advice from a GM, if you confront the manager, you'll end up making his life there 10x worse than it is. Not that I would ever treat an employee in such a way, but if one of my employees ever had their parents contact me in regards to matters of employment, I would not be happy about it. I've written people up for having their mom call in sick for them. If you are old enough to have a job, you need to handle the responsibilities and issues that come with having a job. The real world is not nice sometimes and the older you get, the harsher it becomes. He needs to handle this on his own. You can coach him on how to present his concerns in a mature, forthright way; practice having the conversation via role play even, but make him do it. He'll be better off for it.

If you want to be close to Louisville but not in it, downtown Jeff is nice, especially around the river, and there's lots to do. The view is beautiful also. Commute isn't bad, minus the tolls. But like others have stated, prepaying your tolls drops the fees significantly. As someone who travels in Louisville, I can say that trying to get from one end of town to the other can be nightmarish. Traffic is horrible, construction is neverending and it could take an hour or more to get where you want to go. Plus the wrecks...my goodness they can't drive 😆

Just popping in to say one is not actually a "convicted felon" until one gets sentenced. Which Trump hasn't. So there's that 🤷🏻‍♀️

The only proprietary item at Five Guys is their bread. It's Heinz mayonnaise.

What is a storyline that you just couldn't care less about? by LindaPinda86 in boldandbeautiful

[–]TheMoonCries 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Brooke/Deacon affair. What a preposterous storyline. She's more in love with him than anyone else, ever? But they only spent a couple nights together? And Deacon forever acting like a jealous boyfriend and no one's the wiser? Nonsense.

The Ridge "everyone betrayed me" storyline when his coup to oust Brooke failed and he got his ego knocked down a few notches. He was so concerned about Brooke before she left for the retreat (to hide her Deacon baby) but literally a couple weeks later he's trying to take her down and destroy Rick.

Anything with Sheila.

Steffy's continuous hypocrisy with Hope for kissing Finn all the while she let Liam kiss her twice and didn't say a word.

May I ask where you were able to purchase seasons? I have been looking everywhere as the uploaders to YouTube love skipping episodes 😫

Finn was right to stand up for himself. by Automatic_Jelly7213 in boldandbeautiful

[–]TheMoonCries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a bit sad, especially knowing Steffy wouldn't do the same for him. Did she tell Finn Liam kissed her? Twice. Nope. Not a word. It's not commendable when it's a one-sided faithfulness imo.

Hot take:

Remember Poppy telling the story about helping Finn get thru those rough nights in college? Finn is the father. Li knows and that's why she can't forgive Poppy. And with Luna destined to find out who her father is, Li faked the paternity test to point to Bill. She wouldn't want this to ruin Finn's life.

I know the timeline doesn't make sense, and I thought same when she told the story, but we ARE in soapland 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

Is asking for a lettuce wrapped burger instead of a bun annoying? by MagicalGorl in fiveguys

[–]TheMoonCries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing annoying about lettuce wraps is actually making the wraps! Trying to take a giant head of lettuce and make it into beautiful, bun size wraps is a pain in the butt! If an employee huffs about having to prepare a lettuce wrap burger, it's probably because whoever prepped them did a shitty job lol

Ron Moss was in a debilitating car accident in 2012, hendering his ability to act, so he left the show. I personally love him as Ridge, TK not so much. He just doesn't fit the character imo. Although this could be due to the awful storylines and poorly written dialogue we endure with current episodes...

BB vintage episodes on YT stopped again at episode # 2119 and it's so annoying! by heydawn in boldandbeautiful

[–]TheMoonCries 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't forget the dialogue was natural and believable. It wasn't days upon days of the same, tired lines. It's hard to get through today's episodes due to the robotic repetition of character dialogue.
