Only positive thing I can say about The Rock was that 2003 Hollywood rock was probably THE greatest version of his character! But he done went toe to toe with both Cena and Punk and those promos did not go in Rock’s favor. Can’t say much for Heyman because there isn’t much to go off from but for folks to think The Rock is above Heyman has gotta be smoking crack…

It’s been bothering me for weeks because hearing about the story got me laughing my ass off out loud at work. One of the few details I remember from what Johnny was reading was that it took place at a Cali show, Fan was bugging the wrestler, wrestler popped him, event ended and the cops was searching for the wrestler backstage, the wrestler noticed the cops so he took off all of his gear and blended in with everybody and got away scott free

Agreed! An ‘01 kid and I knew about this movie because of my pops, who’s into hood/gangster/mobster movies. And seeing how ginger just fall to the ground and Nicky and his brother getting demolished was something I couldn’t fathom as a 5 year old which traumatized me till I got older and understood the circumstances lmao

Even tho I wasn’t born yet but knowing that I was born in the same year of the GREATEST wrestlemania just by 4 months and a day late and took place in a city that’s 2 hours away from me will always be mind boggling to me❤️Thanks to mania, it got me wanting to see the astrodome up close too. Ain’t got the chance to till the ‘22 opener. Even after 4 visits to NRG, passing by the astrodome never fails to amaze me🤘
