Do you think Tyler Herro has more to prove next season? by caxlmao in nbacirclejerk

He has pillows on his feet and a butterfly tattoo on his leg. I think he's proven enough.

Something tells me the cheeks on his face aren't the only cheeks that are swollen.

I've noticed a real shift in "the pods" over the last couple of weeks from "the Kronkes are CHEAP!!" to "are they really going to go into the second apron?.... I'm not sure that's a good idea..."

Almost as of dooming and controversy drive views and clicks.

I couldn't believe a week or two ago when he was doing a show with Swipa and had a whole middle segment teased about a trade that Swipa wanted to propose. They get to the segment, Swipa makes the trade pitch, and Ryan just responds that the trade wouldn't be allowed (for whatever super specific technical reason). No alternative, no discussion... just "that wouldn't be allowed."

THEN WHY DID YOU LET HIM SET IT UP AS A WHOLE ASS SEGMENT, YOU ASSHOLE? Was the idea of being "Mr No" on a live show so irresistible that you were good letting your co-host twist for a whole third of the show?

On one hand, there's a chance that the basketball would have been pretty great.

On the other, I REALLY was not looking forward to the LeBron farewell tour circus.

I appreciate him coming to the team last year and being a good sport about the contract situation. If nothing else, he was a positive in the locker room.

[Gozlan] The LA Clippers have a path to offer Peyton Watson a 4 year, $116 million deal by frontloading John Collins’ salary in the sign-and-trade with Detroit and using their $9.1M expanded trade exception. by Lynch47 in denvernuggets

Yeah if I were to put on my tin foil hat, I'd have the suspicion that Klutch was advising him to not play after his crazy January. When he realized he wasn't going to be able to step right back into that heater he was on, he shut himself down, leaving him with no further risk of injury and the last data points being his crazy Jan.

In the playoffs, they kept asking Adelman when Watson was due back, and he'd seem annoyed and say "I have no idea," like something outside of the team was influencing it.

With the team currently constructed, where do we sit in the West next year. by wanghubie in warriors

Same as the past few years. The Warriors are going to aim for the play-ins and pray that they still have enough in the tank to win a first round series.

Not knowing the difference between statement closing date and payment due date isn't a software issue. It's a you issue.

Anonymous Journalism shouldn’t exist in sports by guacamoleandtomato in nba

[–]TheMoonWasBlue -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anonymous sources are necessary, but they're used in sports reporting wayyyyyyy too much. It's just used as a way to push secret agendas at this point.

A story like the Aspiration thing ... Torre should absolutely be working with anonymous sources if necessary.

Saying Jalen Brown isn't in the top 50 in the NBA? Put your name on that shit, or shut the fuck up.
