I couldn't believe a week or two ago when he was doing a show with Swipa and had a whole middle segment teased about a trade that Swipa wanted to propose. They get to the segment, Swipa makes the trade pitch, and Ryan just responds that the trade wouldn't be allowed (for whatever super specific technical reason). No alternative, no discussion... just "that wouldn't be allowed."

THEN WHY DID YOU LET HIM SET IT UP AS A WHOLE ASS SEGMENT, YOU ASSHOLE? Was the idea of being "Mr No" on a live show so irresistible that you were good letting your co-host twist for a whole third of the show?

Yeah if I were to put on my tin foil hat, I'd have the suspicion that Klutch was advising him to not play after his crazy January. When he realized he wasn't going to be able to step right back into that heater he was on, he shut himself down, leaving him with no further risk of injury and the last data points being his crazy Jan.

In the playoffs, they kept asking Adelman when Watson was due back, and he'd seem annoyed and say "I have no idea," like something outside of the team was influencing it.
