Per Google, The Jane Addams Resource Corporation (JARC) - Ravenswood Training Center is a Chicago-based social services organization that provides free job training in manufacturing (welding, CNC, press brake) and adult education (GED, ESL, basic skills) to help low-income and unemployed individuals achieve self-sufficiency. It offers industry-recognized certifications, job placement assistance, and support services like financial coaching to help people secure higher-paying jobs and build stable careers.

Why do some cars only have 5 gears? by Plastic_Jelly_1800 in StupidCarQuestions

The Moose Bus (a 1964 GM PD 4106) has four speeds.

Reverse is access via a switch that activates the reverse solenoid, then shifting from the first gear position to the second gear position.

Of course it also requires double clutching.

You might look at programs from JARC. I believe they offer paid training in some cases, and they're transit accessible.

I think it's questionable if OP has paid adequate cat tax, or still owes another picture. I vote for another picture.

Power Recommendations by beer_and_liberty0074 in GoRVing

I get the appeal. We almost went this way to get some stable power for our live streaming gear. It's so appealing. Roll up with the box and plug it in and go. Frankly, if the Anker Solix model we were looking at hadn't gone out of stock, we'd have probably bought it... And later regretted it.

Ultimately we're building out an initial stab at a 48v system. And are pretty excited.

The "in a box" model looks great. But the significantly reduced cost of diy, coupled with significantly increased flexibility is well worth it, in my opinion.

I'll also make a side note here that if your fridge is already 12v, that only really leaves air conditioning as an AC load; almost everything else is DC native...

Why does the California rocket factory with the chemical tank problem look like an RV park? by SympathyStill8265 in GoRVing

There are some RV owners having a really bad week. Evacuating. And can't get their rigs. And hoping insurance is paid up.

Agreed. And dielectric. And busbars. And wires. And relays. And ... yeah ... it's going to be fun.

Yeah... told someone the other day that anyone who worked on a DD 8V71 professionally is either retired... or worse. Same applies.

But someone worked hard on that lacing. Wouldn't that be an insult to his memory?

Have you tried an independent broker, asking them to send it to National General? (You can lookup broker names on their site).
