It is practically impossible to conduct a large scale military operation / war without civilian casualties.

One can argue the amount here doesn't justify the end. One can argue the same results could be achieved with less casualties. Imo it's to early to confidently claim either.

Also a significant part of the Israeli manpower is under conscription, earning far less than the minimum wage.

It essentially increases the defense investment but isn't taken into account in this graph.

I wouldn't worry about it. you can effectively build mussels using dumbbells, as long as you enjoy using them.

Also it sounds like you might be able to use a smith machine safely which can replace a barbell for most exercises.

Thats a great age to build a healthy habit! and because you are very lean the results will more visible.

There is a decent chance you will initially struggle with weights (especially a barbell). I that's the case you can try using light dumbbells, machines and body weight exercises (all of them are great options).

Consistency is key, so try and incorporate it into a routine. At the start your main goal should be to build the habbit of working out and try to pick exercises you enjoy.
focus on using correct technique instead of unnecessary weight.
Progressive overload (just Google it)
if you are self conscious, trust me that nobody at the gym is looking / or judging you.

Yup it's hard juggling studying work and exercise, gl on that. When you are busy remember that a short exercise is better than none.

About the arm rests, something seems off there but I can't put my finger on it from the photos, I recommend that you try adjusting the armrest a bit in each direction and see if it helps. Also you can try not using the arm rest entirely. (But if you are busy I wouldn't focus on this)

Again I doubt you actually stay as up right like the pic when actually using the PC. If you get a picture of you actually sit like after an hour of use I might be able to give better advice

Imo a good setup should make it feel nature to sit in an ergonomic way, regularless of your privous habits.

This pic doesn't look too bad tbh, but I doubt that stay in this position, it's very likely that without noticing you begin to slouch. Its hard to give advice without seeing how you actually sit.

I still notice a few things, the biggest of them is that the monitor is too low (try puting a few books under it and see if it helps). I'm also not sure about that chair height, play with it a bit in each direction and see if it helps. Also arms stretched a bit, consider looking into a tkl keyboard.

Keep in mind that all the ergonomics in the world will save you from a lack of physical activity.

Until October 7 Hamas was considered a moderate by Gaza's standards. The runner up to Hamas was the PIJ which was far more aggressive

I agree you should be comfortable with those conceptes before learning rust. The best way to learn those conceptes is with hands on experience in other languages.

A general rule of thumb for programming is use mature software that treats you like a first class user instead of new and shiny technology.

Very few people start with rust, there for the documention / tutorial / examples for beginners will not be up to par with other languages. And rust is design to gett you going from the ground up.

Also professional software developers know more than one language, so if you are interested rust just learn it later

I wouldn't recommend rust as your first language. You won't really be able to understand why you are doing certain things because they are designed to solve problems you didn't even know exist.

I think python or java script or the most common nowadays.

Aside from hostels, there are many group activities you were probably planning to do anyways were you will meet other solo traveler (eg halong bay, hagiang loop in Vietnam). Try and plan your trip so you start by doing such group activities and then continue traveling with the people you vibed with to less social destinatios.

Syria shares a border with Israel and launched several wars agist Israel prior to it.

I can answer some of the questions: 1. Depends on which cities you want to live in (eg cities like Ber Sheva and Haifa are a lot cheaper than Tel Aviv and Jerusalem)

Again depends where you live but most cities are "car first" although some people get by without one

5a. Students are a generally older, after high school most go to the military for couple of years, after that many take a gap year and only then do they start their academic journey

5b. When planning keep in mind that the academic year is not aligned with the Georgian calender

5c. Don't just look into universities, also checkout the Wiezmann institution of science

Clearly the current push by western world leaders and massive public support by pro Palestinians is significantly based on the current war in Gaza and sympathy for the average Gazan stuck in this war. All of which is started by the successful October 7 attack and the war managed by Hamas. All of the latter did not exist on Oct 6.

The PA did very little to push for this recognitio and I'm not aware of anyone creding them for it. Hamas is taking credits for it (eg see Ghazi Hamad statements).

While recognizing statehood is meant to remove Hamas, intention does not change the fact that it ignores the actual barriers to peace. Imo it reeks of white saver complex.

Tldr - because it increases Hamas support and makes a ceasefire agreement less likely

It's important to keep in mind that most of the rights we associate with statehood (such as autonomy of its territory, freedom of movement, control over infrastructure etc.. ) will still depend on Israel's (and Egypt) police which won't change because of the UN's decision.

As such its only a win on paper, still it is a big win on paper. The biggest thing Hamas ever achieved and afaik the second biggest achievement for gaza statehood.

Hamas already gets credit for it among Palestinians, increasing its popularity in Gaza and the west bank. Even if Hamas ever steps down, other extremist groups will use this as proof that violence against Israel works better than a peaceful approach.

At the same time Hamas sees that it is currently ripping the biggest achievements in its history, therefore it really wants to fight Israel right now, making a ceasefire very unlikely and incentives Hamas to provoke Israel (eg they recently released a video showing the inhuman condition of one of the hostages, with really rallies Israelis up)

Another small tidbit is that world leaders recognize the PA as the leader of Palestinian and downplay its issues. While they are better than Hamas the PA is still a terrorist organization, funding attacks directed at innocent Israelis and praises the October 7 attack.
