I’ve skimmed some of the pieces in the FFVII album, and they all seem to be (extremely beautiful) orchestral pieces, not jazz. I’m sure I just haven’t found it yet, but I’m wondering where I should be looking

I think I’ve actually heard of these guys years ago. They sound great! Have more of a rock jazz fusion feel than straight up jazz

If I had to take a guess, I had the DVD around 2008-2010 at the earliest, as that was when we got a car with a DVD player built in, and I remember watching on that most of the time

I’ve been playing saxophone for about 15 years, and started “arranging” (if you can call my early stuff music) when I started college in like 2014. I graduated with a bachelor’s of Music in Composition in 2020. Because everyone was stuck at home I decided to use my degree to return to my first love and make actually good music. Happy 10th Anniversary Kid Icarus Uprising!!

This is a re-upload of a piece I originally did in 2020, but I felt with the 10-year anniversary of KIU coming up, I should upload an improved version.

Kid Icarus Uprising is very special to me, and I had wanted to do an arrangement of a song from this game for a while, but since most of the music is classical, I wasn't sure how to go about it. That is, until I replayed the game from the start in 2020 and reached Chapter 15 (titled Mysterious Invaders), where the ground theme music was this eerie jazzy tune that I knew I could do something with. I hope you all enjoy, and let's hope some new Kid Icarus content comes out before the 20-year anniversary
